Planets Die

There was a "similar" suggestion for inactive accounts, that after a while of inactivity, or not upgrading the planet, they would rebel and the planet would be broken from your orbit, and recirculated into the galaxy for other players to grab.

This would be a nice way to recover all of the lost planets within the now, lower ranks of SGW.

As for your idea, It just wouldn't work out very well. Planets don't just go boom.

Wouldn't it happen that a planet would die once you have exhausted it's resources? that happens... and in the show it happened... hence Gua'ulds would abandon planets once they had nothing more to offer...
