i beg to differ miss Nuto. Melbourn has to many buildings and no usable grass.

Ummm.. have you actually ever been to Melbourne?

Have you been to the Fitzroy Gardens? The Botanical Gardens? Albert Park? Treasury Gardens? Parliament Gardens? Carlton Gardens? The whole city is build AROUND several massive clusters of usable grass and trees.

No idea what would make you say otherwise... :?

Not to mention the GRASS in her bottom draw :D

>.< There certainly is not grass anywhere inside my house thank you.

Are you coming to the Australian conference Mr. S T I? If so, let me so I can make an appropriate fan banner.

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.

They're obviously partners in crime

But anyways, last time the convention idea came up, we had a user group showing anyone interested. Wondering if something like it is underway, just so all us creepy stalker types can see who's comming

yes i have, i have a friend that lives in melbourn, his family also owns a unit right on cavil at the gold coast, they spend thier holidays at the gold coast rather than melbourn. and i dont mean parks. i mean gardens, (personal gardens not public ones) parks suck for tricking, it draws a croud and gets annoying.

and you seem angry, i never said melbourn sucked, just queensland was better :-D

Melbourne is (quite obviously) better for me :P.

However I had the idea...

What if we all chipped in $x dollars (depending on how many are coming), lets say $20 each, and rented out a conference hall? Paid on the day to the organizers, and that pays for some snags, drink, the hall, etc.

I think (not 100%) that DreamWorld actually has a package for businesses and groups that allows you to go into the park for the day and have a lunch, and rent out a hall inside dreamworld. I'll check up on that.

But if we're going to do this, lets do it right :P.

EDIT:

They're expensive though :P

Cool, I might have to come along to this. Any place in reason is good for me. Though the preference is either Melbourne or Brisbane.

Would be interested but it depends heavily on when it is and how much notice I can get.

I live in Sydney but might be able to drive or fly up to Brissie or down to Melbourne.

I am sure that we will be given plenty of notice. Just make sure the venue has plenty of space to park our motherships please.
