I am sure there are tons of alliances that need people. You would not want to be my officer because someone might attack you trying to make me mad, but I will answer your questions.

Units are the true power in this game so unit production is very important but you need an attack to get some naq and a defense to protect your income. Covert helps you see people stats and stops people from seeing yours but do not worry about anti-covert.

Yes I use buckner in sgw.

urwelcome

I am a replicator so I do not know what tauri units are called. I think that NID are the ones that cost 89k. So if they do you will need to have enough of the 2k ones so that you can turn them into NID teams.

Only buy the bigger weps I know it seems weird by looking at the names but they all do the same thing. The smaller weps are not worth the cost.

lol races really don't matter that much people just pick one that has a bonus they like.

some people like to roleplay but I have friends in every race.

Yep

Most alliances have members of all races.

It used to be a big deal attacking members of your own race earlier in the game but it is not now.

You could join an all tauri alliance and then I think one of the rules would be not attacking tauri but that would be a "hard core tauri"

To conquer a planet you must have a mothership which you can buy later it is not worth it now for you. Stealing planets is a mess and people can get really mad at you.

Just a regular attack takes the naq if your attack is higher than their defense.

Raiding takes untrained units, you can spy and see how many untrained uu they have and if your attack is higher than their defense you can steal some of them.

I'm fairly new to TGW (been playing for a couple of months... still a bit newbie :p), though far from new to browser games. Never played a turn-based mmorpg before (more of a tick-based gamer), but enjoying it a lot.

Been reading these forums for a while now, picking up info about players/alliances attitudes and such, and now decided to get more involved in the TGW community. So, hello to all :)
