Re: Redwall

Man, I remember these books, they were the first "big" books I read, and enjoyed them. If I remember correctly, Salmandorstorm was my fav, but then again I haven't read these in so long and haven't ream them all.

Re: Redwall

It amazes me the number of character's I can still remember, even though it has been years since I last re-read any of the series. Heh, I think i can even remember the plot of salamandastron... :)

Re: Redwall

Personally, the hares have always been my favorite, with otters and squirrels tied for second. Seriously, who can not love a bunch of courageous bunnies following a big badger to attack other vermin. Priceless!
My name is red because I'm one of the few Tok`ra. Your questions have now been answered.

Aye - although I must hold out that the otters as depicted in mossflower are my favorite. Double-ended javelins, sling-stones cracking enemy paws, the Mask, underwater travels, stormfin... don't get me wrong, I like otters of later books, but these were my favorites, none of the mossflower otters felt forced or stereotyped like they sometimes feel (imho) in later books.

Re: Redwall

Which is why the otters are my second favorite, though squirrels are pretty good also.

The real question is, what is your opinion of... the hedgehogs?
