major issue: ascended accounts of deleted main accounts

I have spoken to 2 different guys who have deleted their main account. Both of them can still log in to their ascended account and there is no option to delete it. I believe one of them is still actively playing on the ascended account.

If the ascended accounts don't get deleted automatically when deleting the main account, there must be quite a few ascended accounts around that are no longer linked to a main account.

I think that is definitely something that needs to be looked into as it could be exploited. People could give away their ascended accounts to unascended players, and once descension comes, there will be accounts that can make you descend on main but you can not do it to them as their main account doesn't even exist anymore.

Also if someone was to delete their main account and later on creates a new one and ascends with it, they would have multiple ascended accounts...

I strongly suggest that all ascended accounts that are not linked to a main account anymore get deleted immediately and I also think it should happen automatically in future when someone deletes their main account.

Still not fixed. I deleted my main account today, but there is no option to delete the ascended account.

O.K. This is the score, there are many in ascended who chose to leave main because they no longer had the time or the inclination to play there anymore. We did however wish to maintain our ascended accounts.

I realised that to develop further I would need multiple ascensions because although I was in the first 500 to ascend I saw I was unable to catch up effectively with a single ascension ( although I am 79 influence ) and I returned to main game for the sole purpose of reascending and building there

I tried hard for a couple of months to get myself relinked which I eventually did but trust me it was no easy task. Now I have 8 ascensions left and I intend to make them huge 100k UP ones.

If I was to find just because I had no main account that my ascended account could just be deleted well I would be miffed to say the least. I know of a friend of mine who has not returned to main. If however the same IP was to be using a main account and also an ascended account that were not linked then action should be taken.


Put simply If you have left main don't penalise the player.
If you still play main then force relinking or explain to forum why you have an active Main IP as well as an active ascended IP

how bout instead of deleting your main account, you just put it on vac mode for forever... seems to be a fair compromise to me...

and the god quest should let you know if the main account is in vac or nonexistent anymore. it's getting annoying, and i've come across two ascended accounts linked to one main account and have the same ascended name... that just isn't right.
