what good are the Mercenaries

Untrained Mercenaries when i buy them they do nada y?

attack mercenaries are equally powerful to regular attack soldiers, die easier, but dont take up UU's...

defense do same as attack, except that it is for defense

untrained have no direct use except for ascending, where they are used to get more APPs... (at least we have heard they are used for that purpose...)

no, untrained mercs give a pitiful amount of APP. you'd need a few million to make it worthwhile. uu give much more

no actually instead of using your UU for attack or defense, you can buy cheaper mercs, they offer the same power as a normal unit (however supers are still 2x powerfull) they can be used as fodder, a cheap unit.
whilst normal units are costlier --> training + UU value.
although you can only buy a certain percentage of mercs, when buying mercs, you can use the UU for more income or covert...


untrained are indeed of no use except for ascending since they get you APP (however you need a large amount since it is converted to APP on a 1 to 2400 ratio, i think it was)

also:
untrained mercs also work as unlimited bank with a 30% commission.
they cant be killed and there is no limit on them!
if you got bank capacity problems you might consider buying lots merces and sell them for 70% of the price you paid whenever you need the naq.

if your comander doent have SSfull then he can give you Untrained mercs and you can sell them and that is an application i thought aobut but seems kinda pointless casue if your comander doent have SS find a new one.

Normal(atk/def) mercs bring 2400:1, untrained mercs are half that(4800:1).
