I assure you of this..you will NEVER win! As for the CIA becoming a 2nd CoP, highly unlikely. They do not have the leadership, the infrastructure, the will but most importantly the friendship with each other that is needed. It is a huge mistake to assume the CoP stay together for game reasons. It is loyalty and friendship that maintains the CoP..and this war has contributed hugely in that growth.
Friendship, why do people join alliances that aren't the strongest, surely that's not a smart move. What factor isn't taken into account htere is friendship, i know for a fact its why I am in the alliance I am in. As a matter of fact, if it weren't for my friendships I wouldn't be anywhere near capable of joining that alliance- neither would i want to.
In every previous war, the CoP leaders talked to each other and the alliances usually did their own thing. but this war we have communicated with the masses. I have gotten to know so many DD/DDE members who now regularly contact me for whatever reason. Even ppl like inferno, who I always felt had anti omegan sentiments, we talk more often and such. We have truly become an enlarged community, in the true spirit of the game.
So what your saying is you have taken the strong structured chain of command thats worked well for you in the past, and thrown it out the window?
Are Omega ruthless? Yes we are! But we always go after ppl with a reason. A reason most don't know about but there is always a reason.
No, actually I very distinctly remember many of your alliance members coming on the forum, saying "I just massed this person for a laugh"- or my favourite, coming up with a random number generator to pick people to mass at random.
The EPA have some sort of personal rivalry with us which is a joke. During the last omega/epa war they had access to our forums and there was not one anti epa thread there, yet on their forums there were many anti omegan. I understand why the TA dislike us, why Robe does....
Maybe the complete lack of respect you gave to the EPA annoyed us a little, maybe you not valuing your allies at all wears a little thin. EPA goes around things in a different way, they use diplomacy, they value honour highest of anything- Our honour not your "We'll honour our alliance mates, and just be as nasty as possible to anything else"
On the war itself, I think the ill feeling has truly reached epic proportions. I personally have lost alot of respect for who I term hypocrites. I won't name names, but in the past they have come running to me and stating things like 'yeah I also believe Extremer cheats', but when it suits them they don't mind allying with someone they believe cheats.
People who accuse a strong player and then do something hypocrytical. Let's run a little example. A strong player - lets call him JUAN for arguements sake. Well he's really strong, but another player- lets name him EtL- accuses him of cheating becasue EtL can't understand JUAN's strategy. Later on JUAN decides to quit. He sells his UU- which EtL claims are dirty and shouldn't be bought by anyone. But another player in EtL's alliance buys them, does EtL stop these UU being imported into his own alliance to benefit him, does he show any act against openly accepting these? No. Hypocritical, I think so.
And all this nonsense about propaganda..One can't even post the truth without the other side stating it's propaganda. This may be only a game, but people use your common sense and don't be so naive. Do not condone something just because the person is on your side.
Maybe we're not, maybe we, the people in the person who is accused, or person who is talking, alliance have talked to them, because we have talked to them, cos that's what alliance mates do.
The most amusing thing in this whole war was the boycott. Now really, would there be a single anti cop, anti omega or anti etl thread if this was a biased CoP forum. Everything that the CIA typed contradicted that 'bold' and UNTRUE statement. Would you all be up for a little experiment? Ask the mods to delete every thread that talks negatively about the CoP, Omega or myself. We'll see how much the forum has shrunk after that!
The boycott wasn't anti-COP it was because we beleived the forum awards had been woefully mishandled- that was nothing about COP- we were protesting the way the awards were being handled. As for anti-COP threads, we put them in one forum, the size still wont be as big as that massive ego you carry around.
