I recommend trying it on your pc in IE or opera...
if the problem still occurs then its a router issue on viewing those pages which to me seems very unlikely...
if it works fine then its a firefox issue

do I get a cookie?

i made a topic here similar to this but it may just still be a browser problem...
title is: planet page error search for it if you want the details im busy now
ps. i still get the error with ff every now and then, and with careful observation i believe it occurs whenever i try to scroll down the ( L O N G ) list of information in that page before it finishes loading. maybe thats what you do too????

Iv had this same issue with Firefox, when on Sgw (doing anything) it just locks up and wont load at all. It wont load any other sgw page( using tabs) until i close and restart it.
When it does happen, its definitely something to do with sgw as i can browse all other sites, it just wont load sgw. I once went and had dinner for 30mins, came back it was still stuck trying to load.

It's the Cookies.
In Firefox:
Goto > Tools > Clear Private Date > Check The Cookies & cache boxes > Then Clear.
This should solve the problem, You will have to log in again but better than restarting.
If this doesn't work then there maybe more to it.
This has happened to me a few times, when I clear though It logs me out of nine games so it quite the pain in the butt some times.

The Normalcy Bias
The normalcy bias refers to an extreme mental state people enter when facing a disaster. It causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects. This often results in situations where people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of the government to include the populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster never has occurred that it never will occur. It also results in the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs. People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to something they have not experienced before. People also tend to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible, seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation.
Are you suffering from normalcy bias?
