I thought this thread was a joke when i first read it, but now i see a few people think this is a good idea?!?!?!?!? Are some of you forgetting what this would do to the market? People selling off their whole lifer count.
Another thing is that your lifers keep your account in balance. As your army size grows you need the infastructure to keep it going. If you lose all your income by untraining lifers and sell them off or do other things with them, you will be screwed in the long run.
For the sake of sanity...NO WAY.

Re: Lifer reset
I have no problems with my lifer/miner ratio and if anyone else has them, its your gameplay that needs adjusting not the game rules.

Re: Lifer reset
Copied from my post in "Lifers Die Out":
Any thoughts on this?
How about a broker possiblity, to trade lifers into miners? It can be called the lifer rehabilitation clinic. Unfortunately, due to the shock of the world outside the mines, 25% of the rehabilitated commit suicide. Another 65% run off, meaning only 10 of the potential lifers become miners. Each broker can transfer 10K lifers, so a week of full brokers can change 150K lifers into 15K miners. Sure, it's a significant loss, but their not lifers anymore.
