How about I make the serious post? I think she will dodge this one as she does the others but hey, its worth a try. First off, I made a post in the other thread and never got to see any responses that were referencing it. That isn't fair to me, but hey, life isn't fair.
Now geisha, you talk about role play, you talk about how it is different then real life. But Psi has repeatedly posted your thought that you cannot hate the account, you hate the player (to put it bluntly). So how can we role play and get away from who we are.
If we can role play and get away from who we are in real life, then why can't Nuto's comments about you brothel is waiting for you be in a role play fashion? I mean your name is geisha, which is indirectly a form of being paid to have sex, so a.k.a. night walker. Now she didn't say you were like this in real life! I mean don't get that confused, she was calling you a night walker in game, and not in real life.
Or if we go along the lines that in game and out of game is who you are, there is no way to seperate them, then you cannot role play successfully. Role playing is to give the option to play a character who you are not like in real life. An example is when I play Dungeons and Dragons with friends of mine, I am a sneaky thief who doesn't say a word. That is who I am in game, but not in real life.
You want a good example of role playing. Take pianomutt2000 and myself. He hated me in game, he massed me until I deleted the old account and acquired a new one. Then with my new one, he sat on me some more. But hey guess what, out of the game, when we weren't talking SGW, we got along just fine. Bahamut (Tomoslav) and I are the exact same way. You may hate who I am in game, but I am completely different at times out of game.
In game, I a play a true goa'uld, I am a greedy bastard who only cares about money and my account. Yes I can work with a team only if I get some sort of profit out of it. That is who I am in game. In real life, I am a 20 year old guy who is seriously sarcastic, but is really caring and puts others needs before my own. See, you can insult my in game just fine and say it is role playing. But if you try to call me other things relating to my real life, that is flat out insulting and flaming, that is the stuff we don't want.
Now you want a solution to this. How about stop making PERSONAL insults. I mean you yourself have show how they were personal. You took it personally being called a prostitute. You called Robe, the player (not her account), a coward. Now if we cut these out and just insult the person in game instead of real life it would be fine. That gets it back on the role playing level.
Also you want to talk about respect, it is that it has to be earned. This is how I was raised as were a lot of people. You want to be respect it, first you have to respect others. Insulting them doesn't do it for ya. Yes others may fear you for your account is big and strong, but they only listen to you because they fear you, they aren't respecting you.
This is slightly off topic and so I may delete it in a little bit. But I feel the moderators are losing respect daily by the fact they are abusing the double standard in play. That is they can insult us in merry fun, but we cannot return fire for it would be disrespecting a moderator. Now, this isn't fair to us so deters more and more people away from it.

I read the first two paragraphs and was going to type that we had our differences, but you seem ok. But them I read the last paragraph.
What you don't seem to understand (and Replijake too by the looks of it), and what many don't know, is that this counter-respect movement was a private matter that was brought out to the public. It began behind closed doors and was brought out here.
I have asked people to look at things with 20/20 vision, and to consider things, but (up to your post that I have quoted) that hasn't happened.
Look at everying everyone. Consider what you see and don't, what people tell you happen and what you actually see happen. Never take something for face value. Use your mind and think critically.

Neither have i received a warning. Although ive received disrespect a plenty from geisha. Maybe i should be carfull, didnt nuto get disrespect bere her banning?
