I'm getting a MySQL error when attempting to go to the homepage,

"Lost connection to MySQL server at 'read initial communication packet', system error: 113"

This just me?

Moronic is a game where you don't play, which is what is currently happening. Calling me moronic because I'm eager to get back to the game is even worse! When it was announced that the game would be set back to before it crashed, things should have already been resolved. It was said that this would be a matter of days, not two weeks

i follow Clarkey to the letter cant u find something els to do wiv this newly found time? maybe get a girl friend for a few days whilst u wait? the game will be back up when jason fixes it there will always be bugs in any game that will need fixing give the guy a break he is doing his best to sort it out so we can all get back on gezzz...

I'm not calling you moronic for wanting to play, i'm calling the fact that people are complaining about certain things put in place whilst fixing the game they want to play is moronic. You want it fixed so you can play properly right? Then leave admin to fix it in peace!

Constant PPT is there for good reason, it will probably be over in a matter of days. It's a drop in the ocean compared to the number of years the game has been running.

How can people complain about this when admin is doing his best to fix the game you play so that you can get back to playing it? But all you can do is complain that all accounts are constantly protected whilst admin is trying to fix the game? Moronic I say, moronic!

I think the point is if it will take 3 days fine, put the game ( main & ascended ) on 3 days PPT, then at least we have a timescale and can go a way and get on with over things instead of having to constantly check to see which servers are back, when the latest PPT ends, etc.

The game being down isnt boring, Im sure we all have many other things to do. Whats both tedious and frustrating is having to keep trying to login to check.

last night it was said , quick update back in few seconds and those seconds are lasting a day. now we dont mind waiting but why giving the impression its fixed then pufff its down again. soem professionalism at least.

Problems are very rarely foreseen. Something that looks like it's going to be fixed can easily develop further problems. So you don't want admin giving the impression it will be fixed in a certain timeframe? So do you not want him to say when it is likely to be fixed at all? Then you'd have people complaining he's not saying anything.

I haven't spoken to admin for months, had no reason to.

Main is up and turns are moving again, for me at least lol

The game worked fine before, so I don't see why there are so many crashes. Having a new server is fine and all... but we don't know when anything is done. I've got people in my alliance, including myself, on a schedule for ascending and such things. Those things do also require raiding and farming!

If at first admins make us believe this is resolved in a matter of days and it turns out to be weeks, I think there needs to be better communication towards the players. Especially since there are certain people who still spend alot money on this game!

i bet the issue is inconsistent db and channeling users , it gives lot of troubles when u cant channel users that requires simultaneous connections.
