TBH the scores in that match doesn't mean anything really considering Netherlands are group leader no matter what happens and Cameroon can't progress and it has no affect on the other game. So really... doesn't matter. Just saying. 8-[

Maybe to prevent handball.... as it would be their gloves the ball touches not their hands.

It does, because so far Netherlands are the only team among the 32 who both didn't get a single goal scored against them and with only victories on all their matches. (Portugal and Chile also had only victories without goal against them, but haven't done their third match yet)

Yes Belinsker, it's winter there.

EDIT: forget what I said, Eto'o just scored on penalty.

I was referring to the positions on the table, not whether they conceeded any goals..... but then you would have known that as you read what i posted.

lol after all this time I've always thought the only opportunity in a penalty is the actual shot, i didn't realise you can still go after the ball on a rebound if it's defended. I thought it was always just the shot and if you miss that's it. #-o

You mean taking the piss? Answer = No.

I'm not a football fan, i have no interest in it when it's not World Cup or Euro. So quite often the only penalties I see either go in the goal on the strike, or it goes off target for a goal kick, or it's the penalty shoot outs in the knock-out rounds.

So yeah, i genuinely didn't realise. :D

Ok, so tomorrow's matches:

Portugal 2 - 3 Brazil
Korea DPR 1 - 1 Ivory Coast

Chile 1 - 1 Spain
Switzerland 1 - 0 Honduras

Meaning Spain go home along with France and Italy.

Out of interest, what grabs you about international football that club football lacks?

I always find it strange people only pay attention to internationals, im genuinely curious as most people i ask say its the spectacle rather then the game which i just dont get.
