Propoganda - how easy is it to come up with 'it's just propoganda' when you realise that actually maybe you are wrong, especially when the community you were supposedly acting for is saying it.

I want to see it. I've disproved or countered every other argument you have come up with, so let me have a bash at what you call propoganda too! (Unfortunately you may have to wait until tomorrow though because it's late and I've got to drive 417 miles tomorrow - so bon soir!).

We don't really want any particular person, we left it up to the public to elect the position. They got a lemon, it happens, I'm confident the runner up will do better.

Check the communinty opinion on mods thread. Check the first post. That's what I do with your "counters"

It's wasn't something to pick and choose when you want it. It was my offer to end things then. When things continue to go poorly or get worse, you can't then say it's what you want.

He had 35 votes, the others all had 4. I may be mistaken but the ombudsperson position was never about mods. It was about the users and what they want. The users spoke and strongly said that Eros was the best choice out of all the candidates.

I think the way you're thinking about this isn't correct. We're not there to pick someone we want. The people strongly said that they wanted him. If the votes were 10 for all candidates then I think you have an arguement, not that it is a valid one but I mean a point that could be argued, but the users spoke as to who they wanted. It was not up to use to choose him. You all did that.
