It's not about CARING, it's about BEING ABLE TO HANDLE IT ECONOMICALLY!

Of course everyone can handle it...but what worth is a life for a person if he/she can get a health cover but nothing else and go beg for food in the streets to survive?


And Auriel you realize what it means? EXTERMINATION.

i don't give a bollix about losers. why? cos i once was without money (well.. E1.60 is not money) and had to pay for accomodation and food yet i've never been sittin on ha'penny bridge with an empty paper cup beggin' for money.

I suppose you'd also support those people who bought real estate and then sold it the next day, driving the housing market to become a ridiculous in their speculative real estate gambling...

We could have affordable health insurance if people used a little common sense and sued companies who delivered E. Coli covered spinach and not the company that forgot to label its coffee hot. Ridiculous, get rich quick law suits drive up the price of health insurance and screw over those who need it. And that's not something the government can fix.

Also, I will not be supporting either canidate. Rather put my name in. Granted I prolly couldnt run the country like most of the greats did in their time, but I would give it one hell of a run for the money. I once supported Bush, when I first went into the military. It was great, he pushed for raises for all the branches of service and such, but what was my reward? A prosthetic on my right leg from the knee down thanks to a party favor called an IED that was planted along the roadside in Afghanistan.

Now don't get me wrong, I didn't join the military for any rewards or anything. I did it in part because of patriotism. Mostly I did it to provide for my family. It seemed the best way to provide for them financially, and medically. Lord knows that unless you are lucky enough to be able to go to college and earn a degree of some sort, then get lucky enough to land a job/ career in that field, then you wind up taking the jobs no one really wants. The ones that don't pay for crap, and don't offer medical/ dental insurance without taking a huge chunk out of your paycheck.

Honestly, there have been times I have thought of moving to possibly Germany, or the UK. I am tired of this country anymore. No offence to those that may have become citizens of the US and dont speak very good english, but I have met too many that won't even try to speak the language. Maybe I am a racist or what not, but I do know from a friend that when you apply to become a citizen of the US you do have to speak the language to some extent. My friend knew because he recently became a US citizen from Mexico.

In closing, I do not believe any politician, they all lie, and the media caters to it even more. We as US citizens have been duped so many times, we are beyond "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me".
