Yes
Touche. While I'm not sure if that truely would have happened, being assassinated does seem to prevent future mistakes.
Bit of a pricy cost though

@syco: Lol, someone has quite the memory

Yes
Wonders where you would say this at besides an online forum.

Come now, don't downplay yourself.

You have a great base of support, and so many people who endorse you cannot all be wrong, can they? Personally, I think you stand a good chance.
MajorLeeHurts wrote: Even still , this whole Election at a time of war has escalated the topic for some and has peeked an impressive amount of interest and you have to admit is a little exciting.
I look forward to an interesting week ahead.
As do I, as do I. I hope by the time we have a new ombudsman, "The Three" will have contributed somewhat to this forum and it's community through their public debate.

I have to say, I'm against an MSN meeting currently.
MSN has a very closed and private nature, which I believe to be unsuited for the current state of the 'election' (being the phase of mere nominations..).
And Bill, wouldn't it be best if all parties contributed some ideas to further the cause of Community, Forum and Moderator-interaction? I daresay that it would be interesting to see what everyone comes up with..
Oh, I agree we could ALL go ahead and publicise ourselves, but it would be best (in my opinion) if the Forum Community is presented with a smaller array of choices.. after all, we know how European politics work; it's shown that the large amount of campaigns detracts from the general message these campaigns carry.

While having too few people in on it would be a mistake as well.
Funny how both visions have a cutting edge.. Maybe it would be an idea to have a.. platform discussion, visible to all forum members, but read-only, posting free to those who are actually nominated. (or the top six, perhaps?)

Auriel is a reverand. Think of all the reverands you've heard. Rev Al Sharpton. Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Jermemiah Right, etc.
Reverends are crazy and should never be ellected into anything!

Epic.
You just made MLK out to be a crazy fool.. I bet that would get you subpoenaed if we were anywhere in the real world.

I never said he was crazy. I said he was good. But I do think he would of ended up going crazy just like every other reverend has.

Because no one has nominated you, I could have nominated you, I could have gotten other people to vote for you, I could have thrown all my weight behind you. But because you have a problem with crazy people, I just wont do it.
I need to know that the Ombudswoman would not be biased against my kind.

I like how someone with 46 posts managed to read that controversy haha. It's funny how your hiding your real name even though there's nothing I could do even if I knew who you were.
2nd, I don't want to be Ombudsman. If I wanted to, I could of just asked 40 people to vote for me like I did last time.
The postition is a joke. I'm just doing this for Major because 1 it's fun, 2nd im bored, and 3rd she is the best candidate for it.
Now go back to bed before your mommy catches you on the computer on a school week.

It's called being a forum floater, Eros. Check his joined date.

A forum floater would probably have more posts in 2 and a half years. Just my guess.
He's just a forum multi.

Nah, I know some guys who just read and read and then don't post. Seems strange to me, but I know they keep a finger on the forum's pulse. Talk to them on MSN about it.

Aside from that being a pretty rigorous point of view, which of course, you could have.. I think it's a little.. off-topic?
Every Rev's gone crazy?

Nice.. you just antagonised most of Christendom..
I just think it's too easy to disprove that comment.. one sane Reverend and gone is your hypothesis. Now, had you said: "It is a tendency of Reverends to go crazy", that would require a whole lot more research.

But I admit, it's a nice twist from "the job's a sham". Thanks.
(Oh, and Syco's post count? I have seen 3-year old accounts with less posts and more sense of their surroundings and the history of these hallowed halls..)

Wierd... If I enjoyed to read I'd probably read a book or something that made sense haha..
Auriel: It's just a negative ad against you. It's not off-topic. Nothing worse than what the Republicans will throw at Obama.
Also a 3 year old account or whatever with a low post count to pop up every now and then is commong. It's probably someone who doesn't visit the forums but was asked to read/reply/vote on something.
But this guy he knows forum history. More than your casual friendly request. Hes a multi hiding.
