anyway this is wat makes SGW so awesome, that it has its own (and i shudder to use the word) nerdish history, about massive empires that rose up and kicked everybody else's arse until they in turn were torn apart by sumone/something else

Please define "Real" Alliances Bad Wolf.

The game has sadly turned into two super empires and thats it. Was chatting to someone about this last nite. You very rarely see other alliances going to war and even when they do members of the two super empires jump in. Sad times.

Actually, now in the middle of the server war many smaller alliances have gone to war, and its good to see actually. Their war threads are generaly a good read too.

i rarely visit GC but i dont doubt they are a good read, with all the ego's that grace the...shall we say...bigger wars, its probably a breath of fresh air reading the not so big war threads.

I have noticed that too Lore and its very good to see.

On paper, the idea of 2 "super empires" bashing heads sound exciting. But in reality it just ends up a big boring farm fest.

Shame we cant fight like they did in the old days...

1 hero vs another to save the men of the army dying needlessly.

Or, 30 selected players in one alliance vs another 30 in another alliance. Getting back to the old meaning of "an alliance"

Some may argue that limits the fun others could have. But ... thats one way to settle a dispute.

It was nice to see TLE pop up ages back, because if you followed there history they spent along time planning there arrival. They picked there members. They had a aim and a goal.

What are you planning Bad Wolf? Personally, I call for The Bad Wolf Project to be rebuilt. Not a Bad Wolf Empire, just an alliance. Seriously, it's hard imaging the great Bad Wolf in any other position than leading his Project.
