ok, Tacky that's not completely correct.

I too was marked BANNED SCUM, everyone that has been banned while I have been in DoC has had that in their profile as far as I know.

HGR was not singled out to receive it.

I didn't like seeing it next to his name, just as much as I didn't like having the label myself.

Myhill was not aware that the banned user group got an icon saying banned scum. I knew but just thought it was norm practise :s..

The banned scum is/was a generic title given to all runners/traitors/scammers with in DoC ranks.

2 years when i play this game i and i teach the honor win not your army

while its not my place to be telling anyone what to do or how to run their alliance but perhaps in the future a better choice of word word be used when describing ppl it might not lead to such hatred and anger

The word scum has/ is being removed as far as I know.
