Welcome back. Good to see old players return, especially ones of your stature. When I first started playing the game, I always wanted to be a part of the Legion, it just turned out that my CO was DDE, so I went that route. Good to see you back.

Good to see you are still playing this game as well.
I personally always liked your Japanese name ;)

hmmm, I was bored today and decided to revisit these forums/game. Not many people are playing anymore. Kinda a shame.

Also, this thread is quite interesting. A lot of one sided vision, but anyway that's life. You guys were very mature back then, for example;

http://stargatewars.wikia.com/wiki/Bryan_%28player%29

Also, Ill mention this. I was the first player to get a "high strike" tactic to work. the original server Omega etc war was started due to my farming. I had a strike that was 5x the highest defense in the game, which I had on good authority was the first time any player had a strike higher than the top defence for an extended period of time.

I watched all the biggest farms (players) for weeks to work out when they woke up and when they had the max Naq out. I farmed everyone, from Rank 1m for weeks before they got the balls to do anything about it in any major way. Metal, Juan and the rest were paying me huge naq not to attack them, and my army was less than 1/10 of their size. I had worked out a huge spreadsheet to find out at which strike was the most profitable and how much naq everyone needed out to make a profit.

You may call this "bullying behavior". However, consider this. The people I was farming all insisted they wanted a "war" and the server was too stale. I was giving them a reason, and they still wouldnt attack. It was a 100% legit tactic, and one they all would of used, if they could do it. I played from when 100 UP was consider the bomb, and when people didnt think you would go past 500, ever, due to the repay time being over 2 years. In that time, there was consistent wars and interest, until 3months my farming. The server WAS stale, and boring. Who cares if your number 1 and dont do anything with it?

Anyway, back to the "great war" those guys who "stood up" to omega.... lol. I don't this game anymore, but all they did was sell all their defence, transfer all their UU to a hidden account and randomly mass 1 person every so often. They had nothing to attack, nothing to destroy. I had a strike power that was 10x higher than any other in the game (pianomutt, my mate had #2) and could do nothing with it. The was boring, there was no challenge, wars were pointless, and I could attack anyone. I even destroyed the guy who hacked jtest, but that is another story.

So I quit, selling my account to AoE aka houseMD for $700. He was trying to escape from EtL and go back to just building stuff. He paid $100, then denied me the rest. So in effect, stole my account.

I know this wont change anyone mind about what happened, or get the $600 (I don't need it now, but I really needed back then. It was to pay for my rep trip away with football) But it interesting to see that I can actually remember all that from back then. My perceptions have probably colour this quite a bit. But then, the perceptions from the other guys would be the same (fighting a guerrilla war against an overwhelming force with a tactic that can have no loses) Its a good tactic, strategically, but my god, was it boring as hell.

Finally, anyone know what happened to STI Reborn Jake and ETL? I didn't hear anything since they found out I sold to AoE. haha

Bryan.

What certain OE players wrote about me and a few other TL was far worse. With a lot more insults.

There were childish acts on all sides of this game. Sad but true. Not everyone handle's healthy competition very well, we were not among them though.

Nice to see you still around though. Hope your doing alright.

Regards,
KJ

Is he implying me or TL had anything to do with the SGW wiki?

Yes. Everybody who reads that though sees that it's not written by us.

Maybe someone who supported us against OE but not our group.
