ALTHOUGH, from that list of "I am a [...] and a [...] and a [...] [...] [...]", it seems like you are Many. Did Zeratul's affliction pass on to you? Intriguing..
Which One were/are we talking to of the Many, then?

I serve only two masters. ;)
Also, you were the one who suddenly decided to toss 3 years of friendship.. never did tell me why. All I got ln that was Zeratul's interpretation of your intentions. :) Still consider you a - very misguided, but well-meaning - friend though. :P

and in the green corner we have the down-trodden, former hero of the community-come martyr. Heralding from an extinct race, founder of the most passive empire ever.. it's the one! The only! It's GEORGE HAZARD!!!!!! (Formerly known as &%^&^£$£)

And in the blue corner we've got the insidious blonde bombshell from our darkest nightmares (assuming she stays away from them herself!) and queen of identities. Coming from lands unknown to anyone with half at least half a head, the mistress of the gab, with a gift unlike any other (save maybe myself) it's the one! THE ONLY! JULIETTE!

We start with a few light blows from our blue fighter, it's swift, subtle, delicate almost, but not undeterred.

SWOOSH, in swoops our green fighter with a series of body blows! Will she take it lying down?

Alrighty then. Lets get started shall we?

First of all, Zeratul "pre-administrator" was fine. He was a fun guy to tool around the forums with, he was smart, open minded, funny, and a good RPer.
Then he got bumped up during Jasons big idea of firing the entire senior staff.

Apparently that planted the seeds of ignorance and arrogance in his persona. Or perhaps since he finally got to the top he stopped hiding it. I'm not a shrink.

He and I were friends, up until about July/August of last year. Perhaps later, I'm not too sure. It was a month or two into my short tenure as administrator. He and Earendil were constantly bickering, we all saw it and it was driving us nuts. So when I got bumped up, I tried to play mommy and mediate them/be a go between to get some constructive things done. It worked for a time. Honestly, at first I thought eary was just trolling around. But as I got stuck listening to them both more and more about the other. I started seeing Eary's perspective. Honestly, most of Zs complaints were things eary was doing as a result of things Z did. Excuse it or not, don't really care. Of course Earendil would be snippy, short, and angry with Z. He was doing nothing as an admin, stalled any type of conversation, and simply got the hell in the way of any progress or regress for the forums. He was a blob of pudding in the middle of the hallway. It got annoying as all hell, but I dealt with it.

A few things started to move forward, such as a GM selection and some minor forum details. Z tried to use the majority rule to circumvent Eary entirely, to get 2/3 majority passing of things without even consulting the guy. I said hell no, and demanded eary be part of the discussions. It was a trio, not a duet.

So fine, done and moved on. I posted some ideas I wanted to iron out and hopefully get moved into some form of implementation. One being a term rotation of the admins, a one year term for all three admins. Each admin would step down in three month intervals to prevent it being 3 all new admins all at once. It was liked and agreed to by 2 administrators, 2 sets of ombudsman, 8 (I think) GMs, and two former Admins. Yet, it never came to pass... where was that majority rule? Ah yes, it does not apply to Z. w/e. Moved on (for now).

So, then I figured it would be nice to clean up all the useless usergroups on the forum, removing the stupid custom colors users have so that only colors that had official meaning (staff/banned) would remain. Once again, we had 2/3 majority for it. Hell, zeratul even agreed to it himself... so long as he alone could keep his precious color. He wanted to remove all the others but let his remain. We told him no and a fight ensued. Once again Jason intervened and completely blackmailed me into dropping the issue DESPITE majority ruling. He told me he would completely refuse to even consider the idea of my term rotation for admins if we did not let Z keep his stupid color. So I buckled, I sold my soul because I wanted that rotation for the good of the forums. I even **Filtered** offered to be the first one to get rotated out to prove how much faith I had in the idea. But no. Precious Z, who did jack **Filtered** as an admin, was far too precious to lose even for the benefit of the forums.

And here is when I snapped. My rants, most of you know about. If you don't, click the link in my sig! Its all right there. Unedited, Full threads and conversations. Make up your own minds about what was justified and what was not.

All I can say is... I hope it was worth it.
I hope deleting 50k posts between myself, eary, and tet was worth it.

That one childish tempertantrum that accomplished absoultely nothing destroyed the last 2-3 years of 'important' forum history. Awards records are shot, massive chunks of forum details, discussions, and staff information are simply gone. I hope the gaping whole in the forum's history was worth what you got from it... a big heaping pile of nothing.

The cover-up failed. As evident by the 3? recent threads asking wth happened in regards to this.
I said it a thousand times as admin and I'll say it again. Trans - **Filtered** - parency. This is not area 51. Be honest and let the people in on the details.

I'll be active over the next week or so, there are some things I'd like to do here. If anyone want sot chat via PM about anything, as I have deleted almost everyone from my contacts when I migrated to skype.

The ban took a while in coming. You had your 2 weeks to rage and vent, and you continued well beyond it. You burned yourself. :)
George Hazard wrote:Dislike has nothing to do with anything. He made stupid decisions in the heat of the moment, whilst putzing around with one of the people the issue was about instead of maintaining impartiality as THE LEADER.
You and Earendil actively tried to provoke Jason into taking action by attempting to shut him out, by redefining your role as admins.. indeed, by rewriting the entire concept of adminship - a thread I believe you missed in your leak-forum? :)
George Hazard wrote:Jason has always played favorites, he does it here and he does it in-game.
And you know what, its impossible for people to not have a favorite. Its simply the way it is, every one has a favorite. Every parent a favorite child, every person a favorite friend. You can deny it all you want but deep down its the truth.

My beef with Jason is his inability to make decisions against his friends.
That is why Z got away with what he did. Daddy always stepped in to make it go away.
Psht. Hardly realistic. Zeratul got torched in conversations as well. Less in public, fair enough. I see the point you are trying to make.
George Hazard wrote:It was one of the last things I said to jason, that he needed to finally get off his ass and make a god damned decision because this "lets ignore it and hope it goes away" **Filtered** of his has never once worked. I told him I didn't care if it ended well or not for me, so long as he finally grew a pair and did something.

I have seen far lesser actions punished more severely than stuff Jason has let his friends get away with over the year (not just Z) and I have seen him go to great lengths to do things for friends just the same.

Mr. Almighty needs to start being impartial. Friends is one thing, but when you are the boss it needs to be the primary thought process.
Fair enough.

Nah, you selected a few threads that would work to your advantage in trying to create a public outrage, ignored countless others.. Pick and choose, is what you did. ;) Or are you telling me you actually have EVERY thread from the admin section saved? (That would be interesting, as there are a few minor bits and pieces missing from the ones that are left.)
George Hazard wrote:And lets play semantics here, its not leaked. Those threads no longer exist.
Hahaha! Nice try. They do still exist. *grin* They are just .. less lengthy. So your own posts (and the ones by my old friend Earendil) are gone. The rest still remains. Hole-y threads, but they do still exist. :P

Yeah, well. We agreed on that deleting thing before. It was a bit clumsy (understandably clumsy though) and way too much at once (less understandable).

xDaku wrote:Not necessarily. A consumer uses an apple product, finds an inconsistency, complains to Apple about it just to have their access to this product shut down.

Work ethic is always judged by outsiders/consumers. Jason sucks at keeping his user base happy. Jason sucks at setting a fair system over an easy system. This is all stuff that's been proven time and time again.

His excuse before used to be "too much work irl/family". Failure to balance it out = poor work ethic. His knee jerk failure of a reaction in deleting off 3 users' years of dedication to this forum was a crap decision directly based off his lack of good work ethics.
Fair point. A little harsh, but I see where you are coming from.

George Hazard wrote:Quite honestly, deleting us isn't the issue. Or at least it shouldn't be.

I know for a fact only 5k of mine were in the temple... assume 5-8k were spam elsewhere and you have about 12k non-useless posts now missing just from me alone.
Nothing that was destroyed cannot be rebuilt. It is a matter of whether it should be restored, or not.

The ONLY thread pertaining to ANYTHING about the administration roll is the one in which we were trying to discuss the TERM ROTATION.

A thread that is on that forum. A thread that was moved to both the GM forum (for discussion) prior to my resignation and the mod forum during my little rampage.
AND that thread BEGAN while I was a GM. In **Filtered** may.

Don't you dare try to spin this around as some sort of coup. The only reason Jason would have been left out is because he can't seem to find 5 minutes a week to look at his forum because he's too busy where as the rest of us seem to be able to spend hours and hours with no issue.

And yes, those threads are non-existent. Because they are not the same threads. 2/3rds of them are missing. The admin section ones are literally just Z talking to himself now. Thats not a holey thread, its simply posts that make no sense.

*grin* Dearie, if he did look 5 minutes looking at the entire alphabet, he would get blasted because he did not look at x, y and z. He can do no good. There is no way he can do what people expect him to do. So he delegates. All of it. But what would I know. *grin* I was just a simple mod. :P
