This situation brought something to my mind. It's a tradition of the US military to honor those MIA(missing in action) or KIA(Killed in action). Zero, I hope you are only MIA, and for a short time...But I feel the need to post this, as i do, know that reading it brought forth tears to my eyes.

You may notice this small table here in a place of honor. It is set for one. This table is our way of symbolizing the act that members of our profession of arms are missing from our midst. The are commonly call P.O.W.'s or M.I.A.'s, we call them brothers.

They are unable to be with us this evening and so we remember them.

This table set for one is small... it symbolizes the frailty of one prisoner against his oppressors.

The table cloth is white... it symbolizes the purity of their intentions to respond to their country's call to arms.

The single rose displayed in a vase reminds us of the families and loved ones of our comrades in arms who keep faith awaiting their return.

The red ribbon tied so prominently on the vase is reminiscent of the red ribbon worn on the lapel and breasts of thousands who bear witness to their unyielding determination to demand a proper accounting for our missing.

A slice of lemon is on the bread plate... to remind us of their bitter fate.

There is salt upon the bread plate... symbolic of the family's tears as they wait.

The glass is inverted... they cannot toast with us tonight.

The chair is empty... they are not here.

Remember... all of you who served with them and called them comrades, who depended on their might and aid, and relied on them... for surely... they have not forsaken you.

Very few things affect me such, but know this. Comrade, you are in our hearts, you are in our mind. If you return, we will rejoice. If you do not, we will never forget.

A toast, in gear with Bill's post. At a Military Ball, the table of the missing men. This toast is usually given directly following the toasts given to the chain of command.
"To all the soldiers, lost in war, and captured doing what they do best, for their safe return."
"To their safe return."

responding words are to this post as a dove is to an airplane.... similar in some senses but totally inadequate to provide an equal response.
urgent@ is the email for getting account details over ... although try just giving him the details and have him log in, else email urgent@ with your ascended username&pass and where you want the details to go - i can do this....
nothing is ever over, and i hope your ascending multiple times gives you (what i think) is the larger picture of life... learn what you can here, and bring it to the next round.... or (even harder i think) learn quickly and use it in this round of experience! ...

i also publicly claim no direct benefit to you or anyone - i am but a mediator or facilitator, creating a place where others can mingle....the game is not mine - it is yours. without players (people) a net game is nothing...the net is nothing. if i can build a place of virtual connections, my purpose is done....the world is closer than when i came in.

anyway - dove getting drawn into jet engine... words never come out right.
believe in yourself - and thrive where it will ultimately matter- no matter what the next tick holds. this i believe 100%. and with you my thoughts go.

This may come as a surprise to alot of you..and not such a surprise to those who know me best. I also want to thank Forum.. we never really talked much man, but thanks for giving me something to help take my mind off my mortality..if you walk away from this game with nothing tangible..you will walk away knowing that in a small way, you made my crappy life a little more interesting....all of you.

Before I go..I also wanted to recognize a great player..with great potential...XerxesII...Daniel, you have been here with me since even before I brought Koskesh to the game..and bro we have had fun.. In my time, I was fortunate enough to ascend 6 times.. and I know how you wanted to, but got stunted by one thing or the other...therefore I am leaving my account to you.. it is yours..even if, by some miracle ,I come back.. it is yours bro... you earned it... thank you for all your prayers

To all players... remember that SGW and all games of its kind, are here as an escape from reality.. but not ever completly- can you escape.. and you should never try to escape... many of you are young and have your whole lives ahead of you... bright futures... many great things... I have to tell this site how much Zero contributed to my first days here on SGW. At a flip of a dime Zero was willing to help me. Without even asking you can imagine how shocked I was to see he had selflessly donated 1 billion naq to my account. He was nothing but helpful and supportive and I wish I taken time to talk to him more. I just want to wish you furvent prayers with your treatment and don't lose hope!

You've been without doubt the most renouned person I've ever traded with, and you gave me great deals - speaks well of your integrity.

First i tahnks Bill for bringing this to my attention.

Zero we have spoken. And being the son of of a terminal Cancer patient I weep for you and your family. It breaks my heart to heer the news. and also a vet Bills thread is moving and heart felt(great job bill) It still does not do you honor. I have nothing but great things to hear and speak of you. I this is what i offer. i think we should donate ingame resorces to one account and have admins leave it on ppt and have that account sell all resourses for $$$ and for all payments going to Zero"s paypal to help his family. There is no reason this can't be done. I will donate for this cause just message me ingame when it is set up and verified.

This is a credit to each and every one of you, due to one awsum players injustice in life, enemies and foes alike, band together! My heart felt angst goes out to the young family, and as leader of Bromus Collective if such an account was set up 50% of all resorces earnt in the next month of all players, will go to such an account. please admin anything we can do for 'family' we should do!
