wing i consider to be good regardless of what stage of anime nerd/otaku you are. but there's also alot of better anime's out there as well.

most people i know of usually start with Naruto, Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, or Sailor Moon. which are somewhat good ENTRY points, but there's a much richer world of anime out there, for those willing to take the journey, which is why i called him a "newb" as opposed to "noob".

as a matter of fact, Gundam Wing and DBZ were the first anime i watched lol

i'm currently rewatching GW atm lol

sailor moon was the first anime i saw....

but thank god my tastes have matured.... to.... lucky star.....

watched vexille a while back, loved the animation, especially the 'jags', but some parts of the plot were wierd. Anyways, clannad is also a good show, its quite funny *has been out of anime for a long while, and is now back, so celebrate*

I tend to stick with manga (maybe because vids take so long to load on my connection ) for the last little while, but from when I did watch tons of anime, one stood out more then most others: Prince of Tennis.

Over that: Serial Experiment Lain (one of the first anime I watched), Haruhi, Lucky Star, Kaze no Stigma, Great Teacher Onizuka, Black Cat, Fruits Basket, Trigun and Historys Strongest Deciple Kenichi were all good.
