Basil Rathbone. Henceforth I dub thee Calimero Rathbone.

Your repetitive flaming of Forum is pointless, insulting and destructive.
Your arguments are flawed in oh so many ways.
Your statements consist of impertinent generalisations.
Your point is unclear.
And to add disgrace to shame, I don't like reading that.

As such, Calimero is a suitable dub.

This update is brilliant. I have played to have a balanced account since starting, and this is rewarding. As anyone with brains can agree that this ultimately is the best thing to happen since those cursed UP planets came into play in the first place. :-D Praised be the Forum, for he hath provided.

I agree great "up"date   allows us poor smaller players who cant afford ten huge up planets a chance ;) lol think its a good idea it will limit power and prevent the markets being flooded with uu etc

Spending money on UP planets is quite foolish anyway...
500$, on planets... that's nuts. :? Planets were, and are, the WORST thing to invest naq in... let alone cash... :|

I'm sorry to hear you invested real cash in the game and feel somehow you have been suckered I don't think anyone here really wants to deride you but I have to say there are wise investments and unwise ones, this one seems to be the latter case I'm afraid

No they arent they are one of the best things to invest naq into. Thats why tons of players do it.

As for the guy who spent money well he should o spent some on raw up aswell.

Honestly ppl spending tons on planets and not on raw up.. planets can be taken, they need to be defended, they coist a damn lot more.

Then you got raw up which is cheaper and safe, and ya dont buy it? I honestly dont get some peoples stratagy lol.

Well after reading all those post I have to say that I am split on the subject. Yes I lost UP, 8k worth, ruin my plans on ascending, which I will now have to rethink, but unlike most people I have not spent too much on my UP planets yet. I have more problems with my income then planets.

I do hate the idea that I have to raise my raw UP to get the most out of my planets, which cost raise then it would for the other planets. But I think the income planet change was to try to balance that out to give people more naq to raise the UP.

actually, the reason for the naq planet upgrade was that they were extremely weak compared to the rest of the planet types...

Guys, instead of bashing people who are venting, try and give them supportive advice instead of being diminutive.

So what, they didn't invest in raw UP like you, doesn't mean their stupid. They had a different strategy than you based on their observation of what the game dynamics were at the time. Now, they have to adapt to a new strategy.

People should allowed to vent(maturely) and be free from reprisals for speaking their mind. If they are immature about their rant, then their post should be deleted or edited.

Meh I never invested alot in UP planets, see what happend in CIA vs CoPs war, most were stolen, most had huge defences...none of those who participated in the war lost a single raw UP ability.

Maybe it would be helpful if forum actually explained how the update of UP planets is supposed to work. Then people can replan their strategy accordingly.

I have tried calculating all the different explanations with my own account and can only come to the conclusion that the update doesn't work as it was intended to do. My raw UP is greater than my planet UP but I am not getting the full UP benefit of the planet. But then again I am not getting the 50% benefit either.

If forum could explain just exactly how it should work out instead of just leaving people guessing it would stop a lot of the posts. As with most updates some will like it and some won't like it. But we should all be given the chance to understand it!!!!!

Edit: How does the amount of UP you give to your commander affect the calculations? That may be the point in which my calculations are going astray.

So we make it even worse for what reason?

Ill explani it all for you.

You need double the RAW UP of your UP planet for it to give its **Filtered** effect, it gives half of your raw up.

If your set to 30% income to officers then you get 15% of their TOTAL up.

Having a commander doesnt take any of your UP.

Having no commander means you get 10% more of your RAW UP.

Having youreself as your own commander means you get 20% mroe of your RAW UP.

There are no bugs, glitches, anything esle. You have likely jsut mis-understood or miscalculated.

If you dont like the idea and want to quit because you lost some UP good ridence this game doesnt need whiners, adopt your stratagy like some of us have had to do over the years, with improveements such as raiding, ascension, planets, etc.
