Technologically, the UK has the most technologically advanced warship and the most technologically advanced submarine in the world. UK forces are also the best trained in the world (which is why more countries send their personnel to be trained in the UK or ask for UK assistance in training than any other country). And we also have the best TWO special forces in the world in the SAS and the SBS (The SBS being the better of the two).

On a final note - the EPA DID NOT come from the TA - and I should know! I was in the TA for 2 days before I decided to try and make my own alliance - and I (and possibly Salvo - but only because I talked him out of quitting) were the only ones who were initially TA. Of all the other founding members, JaseB was not TA, viperman was not TA, Gus was not TA, Austin was not TA, generaloneill was not TA, Slugg was not TA.......

Btw this is to do with George Bush in a joke in which his situation is a plane crash.

if you can see it great, if not will try and work out how to put it uup so everyone can see.

Id agree with everything except the special forces bit..the swiss guard at the vatican are the best, but we have second and third so we get higher brownie points for consistency and numbers..

Hmmm - dunno much about those Swiss Vatican dudes - but they don't sound very hard! I met a few SBS guys once while doing some training - they're a bunch of hard nutters (you'd have to be), yet strangely intelligent - with a distinct lack of respect for superior rank, but hell, I wasn't going to point it out!

lol an SAS dude once was standing like 5 meters or so, not sure of exact length from a group of kids. A girl passed out, he was there to catch her before he head hit the floor.

The US has 7 Aircraft Carriers, about as many as the rest of the world combined.

The US has the Abrams tank. Although not as tough of armor as the top British tank, it is in far greater numbers and so can handle a major war better.

The US has the F-22 stealth jet fighter. Added to it's stable of other jet airplanes, it's air force is unrivaled.

Please note I said when considering a combination of size, strength and tech. You might be better at one of these three in a particular area, but the US is stronger overall.

This is not to dock the British armed forces. You have excellent soldiers that can rival the best the world has to offer, though I doubt your guys are that much better than US Delta Forces, but that could be national pride on both of our parts.

Again, I'd much rather have the British on my side than to be fighting them. Although you did get the language wrong Don't you know American is proper English?

Indeed. Nuclear weapons are one of the great plagues on our society. And yet, because of them, there will never be another World War between super powers. They have acted as a great deterrent and made world leaders think twice about declaring war. So in some sick way, nuclear weapons have saved millions of lives.
