Are you saying that Christianity has faults that need fixing? Also you will find, mainly, that Islam is the only religion that forces their beliefs and morals onto people.

how did your mate create a fossil in a week? id like to know and perhaps you could tell me since you were there. how did you manage to speed up time and create the conditions required to create a true fossil? i understand from the bible that speeding up time is possible (although it doesnt say this. it is guessed and added with no proof to back it up)

I do not know how old the Earth is, however I believe the Bible to be correct. There is not a black and while timeline of events so I cannot tell you the exact age of the Earth. That said, it is in the vicinity of ten thousand years, maybe more maybe less, not hundreds of thousands of years.

i do. its around 4.5billion years old. thats about 450,000 times older than the bible and therefore you claim it is. thats quite a disparity between the two numbers isnt it

yes carbon dating is useful in determining age, but it can only give a date back to the point when life first appeared. carbon dating is scientific fact.

no, the state of our society is largely dependant on the effects of war throughout human history. war has played a far more important role in our social development than that of any faiths.
without war its likely we would have no society. cooperation is derived from the need in our past for groups to work together (without internal conflict) for mutual protection and aggression against rival groups. cooperation is a direct result of our violent past, at least thats what the latest research indicates.

Lol, very weak argument you make there. There were people around immediately after Creation, whether you believe in God or not - Earth did exist then did it not? Exactly; end of argument. According to you there didn't appear to be humans around for say 4.5 billion years, so you have the lower hand there. You are really showing your level of intellect with your stereotyping of monks as fat and brushing off the Bible as fictitious (you can verify much of the Bible with other historical references).

See, my narrow minded friend, there are many theories and estimates of how old the Earth is but how can they really verify it? You can point at all your fact and figures and equations you want but how can you really prove it? Open your eyes and try to realise that what a scientist says is not always right, yes in a lot of cases they may be right as it can be verified and proven. Time, however, is not able to be determined, at least not over long distances.

A man who results to taunting is a man who cannot accept the truth and cannot answer to his own beliefs. If you want to degrade yourself to such a level, go right ahead.
