So the new power is rising... Armies of Omega Empire is getting stronger...
This thing looks just like the CoP, just they are under OE banner... Yay two big parties in pat position. Time will tell, whats gonna happen.

Another Cop vs Cia lookalike war i think.

(this is my opinion, is not the opinion of my alliance.)

It kind of reminds me of the beginning of the end of the GA - in many, many ways.

And that's kind of what I mean!

I mean, you look at it and EPA and Omega had been steadfast allies since way before the GA was created. The GA worked extremely well with 3 groups, but when more groups were added (UTA left, AB joined, then DD, then DDE), it started to cause internal rifts. Some people saw this happening very early and warned against it.

Even prior to DDE being accepted into the GA without consultation, some people had realised that DDE were getting into bed with Omega, and feared a change in power - some refused to accept it could happen, since Omega and EPA had been firm allies for a long time, without any quarrel, and had, frankly, one of the most successful alliances.

To some extent, that was why the EPAC was created, because some of us didn't like the look of what was happening. Ironically, the EPAC was only ever meant to be 3 alliances - EPA, TSA and 359 - all of whom were GA anyway - but we found that others wanted to join (Bad Wolf Project, Warlords of Briton, The_Hive) - all were firm friends anywaynand so they were accepted - although they were not part of the GA, and not protected from the rest of the GA.

The big war came along, and it was during/after this that DDE were 'accepted' into the GA (and some suspisions were confirmed) for loyalty during the war - but interestingly, any talk of others (such as the other EPAC alliances joining (who were also steadfast allies in the war)) was simply dismissed - more confirmation.

CoP was then miraculously formed overnight and, although not left out to dry as some may think, EPAC was initially excluded over claims that we were too big and it cut down on the amount of farms ( :? ) - I think the Confedearcy numbered 270 people at the time (out of around 60,000 accounts). We were told that we could join CoP if we cut loose 2/3 of our membership....

The choice was simple, the invitation was refused.

Why?

1 - All EPAC members were loyal, and had proved their loyalty/worth in combat, not just to the rest of EPAC, but also to the GA in the previous war.

2 - It was obvious from comments prior to the dissolution of the GA that certain factions did not like the fact that the EPAC had become quite a powerful force in its own right - and this was just seen as an attempt to try and keep control.

3 - Since their was no consultation with anybody in the EPA (one of only two founding GA members) over the dissolution of the GA/formation of CoP, we felt that there was no trust between us anymore.

A lot of people, including me, did see this as a slap in the face from Omega - our oldest allies, and we simply weren't going to roll over and play ball.

And before anybody starts crying foul about what I've said - none of it is meant as a criticsm. It's a perspective; and from my persepctive Omega played a blinder. The moral is - always watch your back, because you might wake up tomorrow, and everything isn't as rosy.
