His lifes work was spent finding a way to get aid back to his city even though he was sure it had fallen in the 200 years he spent trying to do just that. His 1st expedition failed, his second involved building an experimental Airship in secret and flying literally into the gates of hell to fulfil his Oath to his King and clan.

Fortunately the chaos wastes which had overrun his city warped time itself, so that the 200 yrs he spent trying only resulted in 20 yrs passing for the City. A mighy chaos demon was waiting for this mission as part of a prophesy it had fortold 20/200 yrs earlier, which would result in leading the demon to the last magically hidden part of the city the King and his remaining dwarfs had been sheltering in.

Unfortunately for the Demon Borek had chosen his companions well, a Slayer who had accompanied Borek on the 1st failed mission they tried had found the dead body of the Kings Son, whom he had sent out after Borek had failed to get help, with the Axe of the Runemasters. This slayer had returned with Borek on the 2nd mission, with the Axe, and with the help of a Human poet who had agreed many years earlier to travel with the slayer to record his Death in an Epic Poem, they managed to banish the demon and rescue the few dwarfs who were left alive.

So when i changed my name i decided Borek was a suitable name.
