I've always had such a hardline stance against morons. It's nothing new, and I see no reason to change just because I'm a mod. If he had a legitimate concern I'd happily listen to him, but he doesn't.

I also didn't tell him to leave because he disagreed with me, or even what he said, I told him to leave if he thought that the forums were in such a irreparable shape.

As much as i dislike FS in some of his mod decisions, him and tealauc where probably 2 of the most active on the forums, and smoosh removed them, i find it completely laughable that you promoted Dadigi when he openly said on TEAMSPEAK he was comparing the IP addresses of users on there to forum IP addresses to find out who they are, complete abuse of mod rights, but hey what does smoosh care, hes got his head so far up his own ass he cant see whats happening right infront of him,

Smoosh knew about that April fools thing, hence why he didnt log in over April fools ( im sure all his mod buddies and aussie buddies will jump to his defense here ) but he knew it was going down, and then sat back let the train wreck happen they deny all knowledge, he needs to be removed, hes as corrupt as some of the other mods.

Here's a pre-warning, im going into a coma tomorrow, im going to make a new forum account pretending to be my cousin whos logging in from hospital, im going to have them make a game account so you can send resources to it, im then going to spam the forums with countless crap over and over, get banned make a new account lie about who i am, OH CAN I BE A MOD.

Fact, you cant have a good mod team when 1 of the admins sucks and makes all the wrong decisions.

Smooshable & Tok'ra - I do not know for certain whether smoosh has been talking to Tok'ra or not regarding information within the mod forum. I knwo it has been claimed by Tok'ra, and that other people within the community have approached me with info/'evidence' regarding it - but I cannot, with what I have seen, be 100% sure.

Yes, I am deeply concerned about things in the forum and mod/admin team of late - which all boils down mainly to a lack of communication and decisions being made without prior discussion beforehand, which was always the case previously; namely:

1. Implementation of some aspects of how the forum is run based on the voting opinion of the community, whilst then going on to disregard the community opinion (based on an assumption) for other aspects. Issues that would not have occurred had proper discussion in the mod team taken place.

2. Appointment/Dismissal of mod members without good reason/justification - Although I have nothing against Jack, I am opposed as to the way he was appointed a supermod. I say this because the appointment occurred shortly following a discussion regarding promotion of another mod to super - which was decided against because it was viewed there was no need for any more supermods (too many chiefs, not enough indians - to coin a phrase!). There was no formal discussion regarding Jack being appointed a supermod - and there is no justification for the appointment, based on the fact he has no time served as a forum mod, and the supermods/admins had recently collectively decided that no more supers were needed (particularly since buck has also recently re-assumed his duties).

Similarly, I have not really seen any real justification for the dismissal of Teal'auc and Freespirit, other than what appears to be an 'off-the-cuff' comment - and I have to say that if the dismissals were coming anyway, then the timing couldn't have been any worse!

My personal opinion is that the forums are pretty much in a bad state these days - and that certain things that have occurred do not help when it comes to trying to make them easier to run.

It is not my intent here to fling mud in any one direction - the people I have issues with know who they are, just as well as they know that I don't simply bring these points up for the benefit of my health and nor will I simply stop bringing them up if they go ignored in the hope I'll go away - but since so much of it seems to be in the public domian anyway, due to recent threads, and the fact that many of you have asked me about it - I thought it correct to state my view.

What I want is for the problems to be fixed and for the mods to be supported, rather than undermined (whether intentionally or not), but that can only be achieved if the right people start talking to, and involving, each other.

This again highlights another problem - in that some members of the mod admin team are inconsistent with their approach to things.

If SGW General is for 'general ingame discussion' (the clue is in the 'ingame' bit), and the forum specific issues section is for 'forum and mod issues', then pray tell, why is this in General - it does not have ANYTHING to do with ingame events.

Sometimes, parts of the mod/admin team make a rod for their own back!

I'm not here to lead, I'm here to police, and if people were to start acting like me(IE grow some **Filtered** skin) then the world would be a better, yet more sarcastic, place.
