Seriously go back and reread you history books; then come back and include references that don't include your pot smoking friend down the street.

And in saying this you can tell me that hiring of german mercs and their failure didn't contribute to the downfall of the western empire? Or the decline of the population? etc etc. I've read my history...

It was a honour to die in badle and go to Valhalla and Odin.

Well actually the Vikings suffered numerous defeats throughout their history, one of the more famous at the hands of the Saxon King of England in 1066 AD, shortly before the Norman invasion from the South.

Lol did i forget to mention NOT DANISH :P.

Im saying that all of you are pointing to different threads in a tapestry and saying that that is the whole thing. And if that isn't bad enough, half think the thread they are pointing to is red when its really blue. And to top it all off yall are arguing over 2 different rugs instead of one!

And no im not going to give you the proper whole picture mainly because I don't want to dig up my books for references and percise dates.

What if it's not red or blue but purple? :D

But anyway back on topic. Good luck Don. Nice to see someone have the courage to take the road less traveled.

I also believe huge Empires are the reason the game is in such a poor state.

It takes a lot of guts to be an independent these days.

Which is why OE, crushed CFE......

Just offer a Viking a fertile patch of land and he won't bother you again. How easily enticed.

That's a lesson they didn't learn from the Barbarians who sacked Rome.

Actually then I studied history and guess what.. Vikings were in there too.
But meh.. what do I know, eh? I guess a 'real Viking' knows best.

I know we where good sellers and thanks to the danish vikings denmark are one of the few places in the world where people still trust each other enough to have stuff on the street and people pay by putting the money in a jar there.

But we had what we needed in denmark so give us some land wouldnt work :P, beside we took what we needed just ask the english who had a danish king because we took it by force.

Don Lewis wrote:I have decided to resign as alpha leader, i will be forming a new alliance with those from alpha that wish to stand alone without the constant gaze of empire command over our shoulders.

Too many things i disagree with have happened in alpha, the empire, fuall and the game lately, i cannot standbye and be part of all that.

So i hereby declare that I and the ex-alpha members will continue to wage war aganst TJP, we are not cowards and will not run from any fight. I also declare war on FUALL, i do not agree with how they run things nor where they are taking the game.

'Super empires' such as FUALL have and will continue to ruin games like this, on that note i will say:

See you on the battlefield,

Don.

P.s. I will post here with our alliance name and ID once it is formed.

Robe, you and I are friends but if you truly believe this line "I also believe huge Empires are the reason the game is in such a poor state" why are you still in a huge empire?

OE, DDE, TLE, TAF, EOB, AR, YDE and all the other new forming ones which I've not listed. They are still all the same - empires just with slightly different philosophies.

YEP total different philosophies.

And if YDE ever chance or become Bullies or anything bad i allow everyone to bash me in the head with the proff of it as i will not allow that to happen.

We are vikings and will stay and fight like true vikings we will keep that codex and philosophies so will my members else they dont belong here.

Btw Don i hope for the best for your alliance.

I was going to respond to him putting EoB in there as well... We certainly aren't anything like OE, DDE or TLE hell the closest name on that list EoB are nearest to is YDE.

Vikings raided and pillaged villages and raped women and what not. That sounds pretty bullyish to me :P Might wanna be careful how closely you follow the viking ways if you wish to avoid that :P

HEY! Without the vikings and their pillaging...where would scotland get it's red hair from.

inbreeding? (just kidding)
