Buck, when the small business owners who make $250,000 are taxed to spread the wealth around, the employees of those will suffer.
The people that will basically be getting my quarterly bonus checks (thats just the start) will at least contribute to the economy regarding the electronics, liquor, and cigarette industry.
As I said before, I have already been applying to government jobs due to the redistribution of wealth plan.

Social security works so well here, go to a Red Lobster at the beginning of the month in my city. I guess blowing 10% of the government check on crappy seafood and drinks isn't bad when you didn't earn it.
Maybe there are places where social health care works, but in the U.S. it would be abused.
Someone has to be taxed, it can't be workers at the moment: considering the current situation and housing bubble.
Tax of 1-1.5% on benefits of richer firms, not that it would hurt them, and that would contribute well. Find a way for everyone to be happy! If everyone who can pay, pays, on a reasonable amount (not too high, but not too small, optimal amount), there won't be objections and problems to fund it. Afterall, we want everyone to be pleased for things to work well, isn't it?

And well, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find out a way to prevent "abuse" of the system...if you cheat, you repay all...along with an interest of 7%.

What's most important is to vote. Period.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TGf2o4qeBo"Don't let anything stop you from voting""I can do anything. I was in a boy band, ok."
"I'm voting because when I was growing up my father told me that if you don't vote then you have to shut up."

Which is utterly ridiculous.
Just because someone doesn't vote, does not mean they don't have the right to have and voice an opinion.
That's utterly accurate you mean!
If you don't vote it means you DO NOT care, so, when you do not care, you don't have to criticize after the results. Because if it so doesn't please you, you just had to vote...it's quite simple!
That's why non voters who whine about things for me are as valuable to listen as a conspiracy theorist without any proof!

Right Pops, everyone that doesn't vote doesn't care, it's not because they carry beliefs that their vote actually doesn't count or simply that they can't or any other reason, just that they don't care.

P.S. you need to STHU about the U.S. presidential elections, and president because you're not voting.

It's different, it's an international view. If someone not French criticized how it's ran inside, I wouldn't consider it same than a french non voter criticizing.
As you know well, a national *could* vote, a not national, couldn't.
And I NEVER STHU fyi

Semper ftw...
Id do a better job than any of them... though saying THAT....I know a lot of people who would. My four year old cousin for example...
If it had to come down to it..I dont know. probably Obama, he seems like he pleases the people very easily, has good international diplomatic standing already. At the end of the day, I suppose if you can keep the mass herds of americans pleased you could do a pretty good job, for example lead them into a pointless war and most would happily abide. *cough* Iraq *cough*.... of course...you always take Europes local drunk to war with you too... *cough* Stupid UK following *cough*
So yes. More Control = good. More foreign prestige = good. High chance of not dying through natural causes before the end of his time leaving...silly woman in charge = good.
I say...America is already beyond true recovery. Leave W. in charge, at least he was funny. Just Get Obama to do the other important stuff that may affect me....(international relations and trade...)

If you have the oportunity to vote but dont then you have no leg to stand on when you dont get what you want from your government.
If you believe that your vote wont or doesnt count then spoil your voting card. That way you will at least be sending a message, as if everyone who thinks like that soilt their voting cards then the politcal establishment would have to sit up and pay attention as to why so many are disillusioned

As I said, when you are into country, you CAN vote, when you aren't, you CAN'T.
Also, USA and other countries criticize outside countries' politics when not democratic enough. They can't vote there, but criticize there. See my point?

I didn't tell people they don't have the right to voice their opinion if they don't vote.
I made a difference between don't and can't. As don't is a choice, and can't is an obligation. I don't blame people for their unability, but for their choices. I'm fair.

For me then it'd be equally fair for me to say that your opinion, as a Frenchie, is completely meaningless? Or that because you vote that your opinion is meaningless? Because obviously if I believe that voting is pointless, then I would also believe that anyone who votes is an idiot as it says that they're easily fooled, so then what if I were to start telling people their opinion was worthless because they're stupid sheep?
You would say it, but wouldn't make it true.

You say those that don't vote don't have a right to have or even voice an opinion. So I guess that's not true either?
I didn't say they don't have the right (as if it's written they can't do so), but that their opinion isn't worth. Unlike a person from another country not being american citizen. As that person COULD NOT vote. If you CAN vote but DO NOT (american citizen), then I don't see why we would listen to you, while you didn't care to show your opinion, while you were asked to.
Not like what I say is hard to get....

My vote wouldn't change anything, so why bother? You voice is louder than that piece of paper anyway.
It's NOT about changing things or not with your own vote.
It's a principle. If everyone says my vote is useless, then it will be an addition of personal opinions that will have effects this time.
It's clear your personal vote isn't going to change the world. But it's a mass effect I refer to. It's like saying "others will do it for me". But then you complain what others chose for you. If you voted, even if you know it won't change things, at least you'll feel you did try at least to put your side and add a vote to your candidate.
