Does it really matter? You are looking at this thread with the wrong impression.

What is a "somebody" Harch? I would love to know. I've been around for 6 years, most of it semi active, and I bought a new cheap account so I could try get back into the game, what does it take to be somebody? 6500 posts and half of them insults? Will that make me well-known?

Did you know Derren Brown instigated the UK Riots?

"But of course in the midst of the destruction, the real point was to draw attention to the herd mentality of our shallow consumer culture. With the power of my mind." - Derran Brown

"What has that got to do with this?" you say.
stroking my long smooth beard, with a puff from my pipe i responded softly "Is the man who instigated doing?"
Bazzled by my answering a question with a question you smack your haed and say out loud "that makes no sence!"
"But it just did, your grin tells it all."

mind boggling how the ones who see themselves as independent jump on the band wagon, without questioning to what the spokesman is doing himself is it not?

Want me to buy you one so they can 'mass' it? It's a big joke. Very entertaining. ;)

Thanks, but you don't have to waste anything on me. I don't even know how to play. :-$

then dont you think its quite silly that your made a moderator of something that you dont know **Filtered** all about?
She's a Misc Mod which has almost nothing to do with ingame.
And a damned good one, at that. :D

...

But they are right. I am a Misc Mod. Which means I deal with spam, discussions, and non-game related posts. The only thing game related I deal with is Alliance recruitment, and that is easy enough to do without knowing the ins and outs of massing.

It's better to look at it like this: I have no in-game affiliations, no alliance, and no bias because of personal war history with anyone. I'm a completely neutral party. I would think people would like having me around.

I agree, less bias = more fairness. And I guess that is why FM made this thread, because many mods are biased (perhaps).

I have never seen a Mod warn someone for something that didn't go against the rules of the forum. I think the bias perception comes from the member thinking they are "always" modded by the same person (which is a coincidence that can happen) or being modded by a person they do not like (whether it is in-game, on the forum, or personal). I'm sure there are Mods who simply don't like certain people, but I have never seen it impact their work as long as I have been on the team (granted, a very short time).
