exactly, why else would ye cower from wars at every oppurtunity and have such a good health service. cos ye like cheese, surrendering and providing unbiased welfare across the board for all yere citizens. tis madness i tells ya... hopefully harper can change all that and make ye more like those forerunners of international insulation and individualism, the americans. ye wealthy canadians can learn from them that ye dont have to look after the poor, thats why god invented crystal meth...

I didn't vote for Harper, I don't like the guy or many of his policies. I voted NDP.

Harper is trying to do that, but with eh recent crossing over of a Liberal to the conservatives, Harper needs the NDP to really get anything passed, without too much discussion. The liberals are angry over the dissertion, Bloc don't have enough seats, the independ.'s won't do anything. THe NDP brought down the Liberals a little while ago in agreeing to a non confidence vote, and they have some sway now too.

I agree with you with what Harper is doing, hopefully it won;t happen.

yea cos i was planning on moving to canada when i hit old age and the arthritis/parkinsons/alzhimers kick in...
as for the liberals, they really were a corrupt bunch of guys... apart from that they were doing very lil wrong... oppurtunism on the part of the conservatives... which is reminisant of republican party politics...

the next George Bush, and Canada doesn't need that.
Personally i rather have the Canadian Government under Liberal rule.
their the only ones who actually tried to get us out of debt
