The official "thoughts on the CoP CIA war" thread

The CIA is quite frankly too big to stay together after this war. Right now, it works as people from all these different alliances can band together to mass the CoP, but can you imagine trying to control the actions of probably 500 or more players? It would be chaos.

Some of the alliances had agreements with eachother before the war, some had previously been enemies and might become enemies again one day, but we are all united by the greatest calling in SGW. To fight and win the war to end all wars, or so they and the powers of WW1 say.

I assure you of this..you will NEVER win! As for the CIA becoming a 2nd CoP, highly unlikely. They do not have the leadership, the infrastructure, the will but most importantly the friendship with each other that is needed. It is a huge mistake to assume the CoP stay together for game reasons. It is loyalty and friendship that maintains the CoP..and this war has contributed hugely in that growth.

In every previous war, the CoP leaders talked to each other and the alliances usually did their own thing. but this war we have communicated with the masses. I have gotten to know so many DD/DDE members who now regularly contact me for whatever reason. Even ppl like inferno, who I always felt had anti omegan sentiments, we talk more often and such. We have truly become an enlarged community, in the true spirit of the game.

Are Omega ruthless? Yes we are! But we always go after ppl with a reason. A reason most don't know about but there is always a reason. The EPA have some sort of personal rivalry with us which is a joke. During the last omega/epa war they had access to our forums and there was not one anti epa thread there, yet on their forums there were many anti omegan. I understand why the TA dislike us, why Robe does....

On the war itself, I think the ill feeling has truly reached epic proportions. I personally have lost alot of respect for who I term hypocrites. I won't name names, but in the past they have come running to me and stating things like 'yeah I also believe Extremer cheats', but when it suits them they don't mind allying with someone they believe cheats.

And all this nonsense about propaganda..One can't even post the truth without the other side stating it's propaganda. This may be only a game, but people use your common sense and don't be so naive. Do not condone something just because the person is on your side.

The most amusing thing in this whole war was the boycott. Now really, would there be a single anti cop, anti omega or anti etl thread if this was a biased CoP forum. Everything that the CIA typed contradicted that 'bold' and UNTRUE statement. Would you all be up for a little experiment? Ask the mods to delete every thread that talks negatively about the CoP, Omega or myself. We'll see how much the forum has shrunk after that!

we may not win, but we promise you one thing. A very long drawn out war. We are prepared to keep farming and raiding your accounts for a year if we have to, but we will not surrender. I know you will never surrender either, which is why I am confident of a very long war. Only difference is your arrogance assumes we will surrender, we shall see xxxx.

1) Are your egoes really that big you actually believe you monopolize all the skill, leadership and friendship of this game? And ETL, I absolutely agree with you again (pigs are flying, aren't they?), the CIA does not have the infrastructure to become another CoP. Well guess what, WE DON'T WANT TO BE ONE! Now why don't you go off and tell all your alliances mates that we are not trying to be the CoP, we are trying to stop there from being any group of alliances as powerful as the CoP. That would surely cut down on the number of posts on this forum as well.

That is not to say, we don't have excellent command structure in our individual alliances and enough communication over MSN and other forums to coordinate strikes against you, that has been clearly proven and will continue to be proven.

The ill feeling has gotten pretty bad, but it has been because of the actions and statements of CoP members just as much as CIA members, that just the facts of a war of this magnitude. We have hundreds of players fighting and bad things happen, unfortunately.

The boycot I understand from past experience in wars where a majority of mods were involved in the war, but let's not dredge up the past; however, some of us should stay here to, as ETL put it, use our "common sense", just with a slightly different outcome than my adversaries in the CoP.

Well when I said I understand why the TA..well you lot have been Omega's little pincushions! lmao. As for who massed you before the war, I honestly have no idea.

And let me point out some home truths about the GA/EPAC..wanting every member of the 300 plus strong epac protected with eventual all being accepted into the GA with each alliance getting one vote..basically giving epac control of the GA.

The whole idea of the EPAC was based on the Omegan Empire.,,and if WE OMEGA could give up our Empire for the GA, then so could the EPA. The EPAC were even offered membership as long as they maintained the limit of 120 members that all the other alliances agreed to.

Hell we offered them a NAP vastly in their favour..no farming for ppl under 10 bill naq..now consider the average EPA member then would have taken a day to get that amount, in effect being totally safe from farming whereas the average Omegan then used to earn that in hours.

And of course who did they blame for getting kicked from the GA? Omega of course, when if it wasn't for me..NO OFFER would have been made to them AT ALL! And almost immediately their members starting talking crap about Omega on their forums, in the deluded impression that they were actually a match for us. It used to amuse me greatly when they started talking about how there were now 2 superpowers in the game..the CoP and the EPAC. And btw, before you all went and blamed Jamie for being a spy..I got into your forums through STONEY lmao...most amusing b/c he was also in your intell team.

That made perfect sense to me, maybe you should read a little more carefully. Did you even bother to read it properly heh? And afaik there's a rule against abusing people for their spelling/grammar (though it seems your the only one affected :/). Oh... and it was your choice to read it, if its such a waste of your precious time then don't read it.

Friendships can be built when people have the same goals and are on the same side, thus CoP is not the only place where this is happening. And why is building an alliance structure so hard? Its one of the easier things to do when making an alliance, and once the structure is in place, leadership comes down to being active enough to manage things and having the respect of your members.

If someone wanted to make competition for CoP on there level, then the hardest thing to do would be to collect a group of players with the will and activity around which you could build an alliance. CIA have just skipped that step, the players with the activity to compete with you, can work together without need to be in the same alliance. And ultimately, it means CIA won't exist if/when CoP disbands, since it was formed in such a loose way (but effective for this purpose).
