July 28th? Oooh I shall have to read this thread. I thought the meet-up was while I was away in Europe.

Due to circumstance beyond my knowledge the Brisbane convention date has been shifted to the 11-12th of August. That guarantees at least one addition guest.
I heard about the change today so I'm unaware of how many interstate guests will effected, if any.

So just to reiterate that message, the get together is on the 11-12th of August now. If you have tied down the 28th drop us a line, I know one Wookie who likes an audience and one boney lad who will come with.

"If any" Well yes, it does actually. The plane tickets had been booked and I was about to book accommodation.

I do hope that this new date is now stable.

And I was told you had already been talked to and were fine with the change and seeming though you knew before I did I think you'll get through it.

Yes, I was told, but you aren't the one paying the 'change' fees on the flights, so I will be very unimpressed if the date moves again.

No, but I paid a late fee and then a separate flight fee again last Convention not to mention other expenses so you'll forgive me if my heart doesn't bleed. T'was a good weekend so I hardly mind.

Oh and in case it needed to be noted, I have nothing to do with this meet up, I just post what I know so this Messenger is off to dodge some more bullet fire.

Anyone else put out by the date change?

The next Brisbane Con looks like it is being moved slightly south, to the Gold Coast. August the 11th and the 12th

So far we have 6 definates.
