I think Müller's goal in 3rd minute hurt Argentinians' minds.
However Robinho's goal against Netherlands only "worked" for first 45 minutes, however Argentina never came back really from Müller's.

germany's plan works if they get a break away.. 50% of a games goals are breakaway goals. NOW this is hard against spain because spanish defense is the strongest one in this worldcup now.. and then there are players like torres to look out for.. BUT I think early german goals will be great in the spain vs germany game,.

indeed plus spain play a high percentage posession so counter attacks will be harder and less frequent - still if germany were to score first again then the game would naturally open up so - comes down to a simple analagy

who ever scores first is likely to win

Paraguay are still to play Spain so.....Best not to get ahead of ourselves Ive had neough spanners thown into the works already

Like I said in a post back, Spain is overrated... that game is good, but not that great against organised teams... Switzerland proved it. Also, Portugal missed a LOT of opportunities to score... if Paraguay scores first, i think they'll win with 1-0 or 2-1...

Paraguay didn't score against Japan, they are masters of draws. Only their match against Slovakia they won by scoring.

And you guys gotta remember that this is spain we are talking about.. I havnt seen a single Paraguay game so i cant really predict anything but its still spain.

and yea the portugal did miss a lot of chances and those chances i think the germans wont miss if they get the opportunity.

I know 1 player from Paraguay. Lucas Barrios and he's good but I don't think the rest of the team is good. We'll see.

Must say the penalties episode was crazy. Casillas stopped Paraguay's, then thirty seconds later penalty for Spain, scoring for Xavi Alonso but refused by referee and then second try stopped by Villar.

Cardozo and Santa Cruz could of won the match for Paraguay, how unfortunate for them
