Unlike you Madcat i was actually involved in the war personally, so i think i have a slightly better level of knowledge when it comes to how well COTO/TO did.

As i said before, they got massacred, they just didn't give up, for every massing one of them did FUALL dished out 50, and believe me if anything i am underestimating that ratio.

After the 1st strike they never rebuilt a decent defense, in fact my 20-30 bill token defense was the most in the entire alliance. bebita had a reasonable one when he returned after initially leaving, but of course he had the freedom to build it at that time and it was taken down rapidly even with repairs and nox.

Every time an MS was left out it was smashed within 30 mins, when we built the large strikes up it was rare it was still being used 30 mins later and that was with caesar being awake during the middle of the night to try and get more than a few mins without being counter-massed.

considering who we fought then yes i admit a great job was done, but lets not kid ourselves anymore, FUALL completely devastated COTO/TO in the initial strike and after that resistance was token at best and a large proportion of the powerful FUALL accounts were effectively untouched for the vast majority of the war.

Yes we farmed a lot, but bebita and myself probably accounted for 60% of the farming ;)

Amen Dave_rocks, you summed it up pretty well ;) when my farmers strike is being used to mass then it says a lot. i have to credit pef near the end of the war as he was starting to become very effective taking out the smaller guys and having me finish them off when they dropped into my strike range, but that is sugar-coating the fact that we had to leave the big accounts alone because it was just too hard to get the strike out to mass them without someone spotting it and countermassing with devastating effects.

no not really - only about your self importance.

Borek yes i had to take 2 weeks out due to RL but considering it lasted 3 months your point is pathetic. At least i was there for the whole war and did not join in just to grow and take advantage of the situation. And as you were not a part of the convos i had with HC your assumptions of what i did are foolish and arrogant.

Guess that is why you are in Omega now

yep it shows how useful he actually was, wouldn't train supers to mass bigger defences for fear of losing them.

@ Borek funny how after the fuall war, you were not even considered for promotion to TO. Bottom line is you were just not good enough. You by your own words doubled in size and ascended twice in that war. While other members most notiably Blip nuked most of their army to fight.

Hell I lost more units then you even had at the point of joining Coto, and I moved house and went on a 2 week holiday in the middle.

If memory recalls the last war was about 44 vs 200+ funny how nearly all of TO/COto are in the top 100 ME. As we were apparently a stat building alliance before this war i think it speaks for itself

Point is that Dave did more than you and so did i, in fact if i remember correctly you almost jeopardised the ceasefire by farming after it was called, but maybe i am getting my names mixed up on that.

and as i have said before i never hid my reasons for fighting and the fact i joined for the war. But hey, you guys accepted me knowing the reasons and you were happy to take my 2 trill per week naq donations and have me fight with you, so what does that say about you? if i'm such a bad-ass vulture scum then what does that make the alliance that harboured me knowing i was only there for the war?

No, the truth is i joined because bebita is a friend and some of the FUALL guys didn't appreciate me sticking up for him returning to the war and wanted a peice of me. Unlike 99% of the game who would have grovelled apologies in the face of the entire FUALL i stepped up and went to war, i only joined COTO because i got fed up of getting 50 PM's per day from FUALL members assuming i was a vulture rather than someone who was effectively invited into the war.

it's not fear, it's intelligence, but considering you openly admit you lost more units than my starting army size then i am not surprised at such stupidity. You do realise that the idea of a war is to lose less than you kill don't you?

And actually i was asked to move up to TO when the BS "training war" was proposed 2 weeks after we had all been told to build big, fat defenses and get a bunch of UP/income planets, which i pointed out was tactically flawed in the extreme. If you want to build up for a war you don't make massable big defenses and spend a small fortune building fleets up to take UP and income planets as a preparation.

As it stood at that time we had all the members with 10 planets and 20k hangers (except me) which they couldn't use unless they disbanded a planet or had one taken. great tactics...not. we had no designated massers, no designated AC'ers, sabbers, nothing except a vague plan to take lots of planets which would have been great if we hadn't spent the previous 2 weeks already getting the planets we wanted...

I think that it is self-explanatory really- consider it a Nostradamic warning, consider it a Nostradamic prophecy- think about it- it is as easy a quatrain written in a multitude of languages and in code. You will find in life that virtually nothing comes and slaps you in the face and tells you exactly as it is, and this is one of those situations.
