Obed Edom means servant of Edom. He may have been a guard of King David. He was entrusted with the Ark of the Covenant while david was build a tabernacle for it. He ended up being the temple treasurer, a guard at the south gate a long with his 8 sons. He was also was a musician who ministered before the Ark.
I love to study theology on my free time and Obed Edom is a person in the bible looked over much but is a significant character.

Heh, ironic that this thread should pop up, I had people debating the meaning of my name on chat just the other day

When I first joined, I was stumped for a name, so I joined as my then favourite song, Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day But it was too large a name on chat and everyone got annoyed by how big it was, so at their suggestion I changed names to the acronym JOS. I stopped liking Jesus of Suburbia in January 07, so these days JOS is just a name to me, not an acronym

i chose mine for two reasons:
1. I play as an Asgard cause theyre freaking bad ass at def
2. I've always been interested in Asatru, which is the name of the Norse religion, and Thor is the son of Odin, Thor is the protector of all Asgard, which is where the gods live

my origonal name was just tacoma which i took from a advert out of my brothers guitar magasine and have since taken up the role of a evil goa'uld so dark lord kinda fits

Well i Chose Sammael because of a series of books which i still haven't finished yet, i need to get back to them anyway Sammael was one of the 12 forsaken people in the the wheel of time series a group of Aes sedi and asher men i belive there called went over to the dark side as it was went over to the evil side and was currported by the darkness they where traped with the dark one and escpaed many years later 100's of years inaftet Sammael was my favorite of them all.

Insider Trader because I'm a stockmarket junkie. It's a **Filtered** time to be working in funds management/finance and whilst I find myself out of a job I am going for interviews this week so fingers crossed.

I'm probably one of the most ethical people going around so Insider Trader is a little bit of a misnomer. But meh, its a name for a game, nothing more.

I initially called myself Colonel ONeil on the Main Wars cause I love StarGate SG-1 as well as the name fits perfectly to my account during the time cause I was Tauri, I call myself StarGateMan on the forums for the same reason I love StarGate. I've switch my Main Wars name to GameSquire so in case somebody written down my name "Colonel ONeil" and didn't catch my ID they couldn't find me, and I like my name of my fan site GameSquire
