For all we know Jason could have had a RL emergency over the weekend and everyone here could be complaing just because a stupid game doesn't function properly. Like I said this community will never change.
Yeh, well in the time I have been here, lately bugs have been getting worse, I just gritted my teeth and bared it because I had hope it would not happen again... You can ask anyone on MSN, how many bugs have been occurring lately, and well its amazing how frustrated people get with it... lol... But yeh, its time to sit back and watch from the back burner for a little bit, gotta run to do some coding for one of my sites... Wasted to much time on this site for now...

People need to relax more and not get frustrated over a game.

Lol... I am not frustrated... I am a bit dissappointed... I just want Jason to know from Admin to a fellow Admin how he can improve the performance of his game... Sure he has the numbers, but does he have the quality? Make for the game, and the players will love you... Make for the players, and they shall dislike the game...

Its very counter imposing yes, but when you sit down and look over their ideas, and modify some to fit a better picture in the long run you will find that it benefits all playing. Some thing that is thrown together with the foresight of a player, and not planned for the whole because they want to benefit themselves more than the whole, it will ruin a game if you don't modify it to be beneficial to all... Balance is the key...

Conflict of interest of note here.
The fact that you deliver a product aimed at the same public as Jason does is pretty much indicative of the role you cannot have in this discussion. You say "I fix bugs within minutes after they are discovered!" Perhaps, but your game has a much smaller playerbase. "Jason doesn't care! He could fix bugs instantaneously!" Perhaps, if Jason didn't have a life of his own, no family, no friends.. One doesn't normally work over 8 hours a day. If one does, one is overworking themselves. Perhaps you like to overwork yourself, perhaps you have the benefit of youth, perhaps you have no family or friends to steal your time away from your people? Or perhaps you
promised them to fix those bugs instantaneously. Did Jason ever promise such a thing? No. So what are you whining about, you blacktalker.
It's this kind of degenerating threads that cause degradation of game and stuff. Bad. Stop it.

by the looks of it we have some inactive admins (attack abilety down for 2 days) whitch doesnt help the game either.
at`s needs to be limited not unlimited.
Me being a php programmer, I had to shake my head at the poor response to that bug... It should have taken 5 minutes tops to check to ensure that the attack script ran well, its why I always have an account on all my websites I program whether they are a game or for another use... Admin Jason just doesn't give a frack about you or me, but when profits start dropping oh boy does he listen! Some of my sites barely pay for themselves yet I listen to to the customers concerns in regards to playability or efficiency... Hell, its usually takes me 1.5 minutes to correct a bug when I upload the updated files, and see that it has a bug...

Can Jason say that same? I don't think so? Sorry Jason, but we want faster response on bug fixes, and faster updates, more features that actually work to help everyone and bring the new players up to speed! And unless you do the bugs in attack script on purpose, you need to stop forgetting to a ';' like a newbie programmer...

Empedocles wrote:Clarkey wrote:You are fooling yourself if you think this community can and will change.
There's a lot of people here that need to grow up and have a bit more respect, but that's never gonna happen.
Sadly that's true

The community can be 'trained', with updates that actually affect them... We have had the ability to farm/mass for so little for so long, its become habit and people start wars to liven up their boring accounts only to find that their accounts are not affected as much as their egos are... And hell yes, I haven't posted on here in forever because I have had no desire to deal with the egotistical bullcrap that people love throwing around, like monkeys do feces...
Well I can fix them in 1.4 seconds!!!111!!!!eleven!
/coder E-penis
Bug fixed... did anyone consider that maybe telling jason about it might of helped just a little? People are all on the bandwagon to tell him if its a cheater or some such (at least if they can), but when its a bug they just assume he knows instantly, because thats how we coders roll, we have physic powers to know about this things the moment they happen. hax!
For all you know deth4uall he could of checked this a million times on a beta server, but because apache/mysql was setup slightly different on his main server it crashed.

Let's not blame Jason, he's human, he can't always be around for bugs.
And in mytopic, I didn't and dont want that it turns out into criticism of admin but criticism of unexpected results of updates that damaged the game, along with change of behaviour that came along from comunity.

Exactly. If his game is good enough, he can go on a promotional drive (ads, links, something?) and everyone will come flocking to his game considering how brilliant it must be by how he talks up himself.
Now I'm gonna head back to coding uber updates for <insert game name here but wont be mentioned because I don't need to plug it in another games forum because its that awesome>.

My topic (other one) is a result of this one (FS's).
He pointed out problems in this game, I made a topic discussing solutions.

Correction this is FS's started topic, also hasn't it gone a bit off topic, it's not a topic about the attack bug, that was locked for a reason, and also, you can't bring down the death or whatever state of the game to a bug that occured over the weekend, most people use the weekend to rest, I myself do it personally, not going to say that one little glitch over the weekend killed the game.

Too true. Sure should hurt a few posters here who are applying for drama queen of the year 2009.
Not you, Dmonix. Not you, you are right with what you say. That deth4uall guy, among others.

i think that game need some boost up, that players who dont use $ will have something to play with not just some fools with 400 mio army size, 1trill MS, unconquerable duals and 10 trill def....
admin should do somethnig that will help smaller players.... something like ascended when u are over cap u grow slower i mean like tax on UP and income... then playing with $ wont be so interesting any more ( so much )
....
anyway we all just want to make sgw more live and not so dominated by big players....
btw i am also selling account, but if game become more interesting i will stay......
technoboy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
let us play with pleasure

I edited a quote? wow.
Generally a quote is by someone else on a forum, and as I'm not a mod...
Either that or your referring to
