we know air force is central part of tauri segment of Stargate... but how many system lords do you know that would like being called major or colonel or general?
for that matter, how many asgards for the same? or ancients?

we would, as we've said in the past, have preferred to have such specific title sets, but that would only work if we could have multiple titles for same post count, linked somehow to races... (probably through usergroups)

quite honestly I think the titles shouldn't have been altered at all until there was an agreement (not just admin-admin) on what to change them to.

Anyway, Stargate revolves around the AF using the Stargates to further their own agenda. That makes the USAF ranks combined with the IOA ranks the most logical ranks to use.

Semper's ascended suggestion was equally good though. They are the two best choices, they are the most reasonable, the most logical.

Some titles are funny. Fun isn't really a problem...(refers to worshippers of Stargates)

I like this new system, and have luck to have sufficient posts to be beyond follower of the tokra, only title I wouldn't like to have!

I wouldn't mind ascended titles either. But current ones seem to be good.

that title was designed to have two interpretations... the most obvious one, which you probably took to be the only one, is that you follow the tok'ra and believe in their cause... the other interpretation, was that you follow tok'ra in order to hunt them down to kill them...

where is the "reward" part about ascended titles or some military rankings? anyone can search up those... there would be no news in getting any of them...

Remember how much fun some players had in ascending all the time to find those titles?
thats one of our goal with these titles... to give such a challenge... that is also why we havent published a complete list... besides, we're probably, when list has been fixed to remove the bad titles, going to add more ranks in between... maybe even add ranks that only exist for short post count ranges, to make them hard-to-find... (who knows, maybe some of them already exist?)

or Ronon Dex
or John Shepord

we could use like a ranking system like they use in the shows

like the highest would be a 4 star general
then general
then colnel
then major
then captian
then Sargent

lol idk i just was trying to help i know that if i got to Jaffa Slayer i would be pissed lol only because i role-play as The King Jaffa i role-play as Teal'c

and yes he has killed plenty of Jaffa... but it doesn't mean that is something he would want on his name lol

the titles are post count based, not chosen one by one by persons...

a good ol' mix of them all...

both sg-1 and atlantis works... (in theory, sgU also works, but there's not much of anything that is close to neutral there yet...)

speaking of that don't hate me for spamming but is there a site i can watch SGU episodes? all of them that are out lol...

also if there is a list of all the ones out there right now can you point me to it maybe i can get an idea of wat has been used...

Ascended Being... thats all race but the Replicators but if you watched Atlantis some of the replicators wanted to ascend...
