that's not really elaborating on what you meant by "sad".
it was obvious as i wrote that post that most if not all would completely disagree with me...thats fine, i have no problem with that at all, this is after all the "intelligent" section and while some of my posts in this section are posted in a passionate way i do try to be "intelligent" as much as my intellect allows.
anyways, as i've said, what is it you find sad? its obvious you find some of the replies in this thread sad...is that all? does the situation in Israel make you sad? if so, what do you find sad about it? hence me asking you to elaborate.

can any nation let alone palestinians or jews lay rightful claim to any land??
my answer is no
throughtout this thread i could only think of 1 quote
"History is written by the victors"
so is history correct???...none here can say, sure we can read books and look at wiki but in the end any post made is just an opinion
some say the israelis are commiting genocide and human atrocities, some may call it defending thetr borders...ill guarantee this if any country tried attacking the U.S. i would do my best defending my country...would you call that genocide???

as i have told others on more than a few occasions...dont take me for a fool.

history is indeed written by the victors, however, the victors cannot erase historical records unearthed by archaeologists that have been verified by historians, and the history record clearly shows the Canaanite people lived in that part of the region first...
OH and 1 more thing, ever heard of a Jewish professor called Joseph Yahuda?

look, your claim to that comes from the Bible "God gave it to us" and "a land without people for a people without land" isn't that what the bible and the vast majority of Israelis say?
