unless you extend that 24 hour delay to being able to attack, ONLY when it'd destroyed, and not just sold

I like the idea of advantages/drawbacks GC suggested.

This way not everyone would feel compelled to pick/make a house giving one more viable alternative heh.

Also, imho, sabotage should be considerably "beefed" up. Beyond what we`re seeing on beta now.
Make it to attacks what attacks are to defs.

Games usually have the paper siccors rock approach.
Atm we only have 2 parts of the formula, attack - pwns def and AC pwns covert - but there is no real connectivity, so that "brakes" the "balance".

Id be happy to see sabbing set that you can effectively sab away 40%-50% of a persons weapons.

I agree. sabbing is under-powered.
make it stronger and/or remove/lower their cost in relation to covert turns.

Surveys for Naq
We are adding an option to get Naq (as if from the black market), but instead of $$ you can simply do a survey or other such online activities.
You can get it for yourself, or others (with their ID).
This is a trial, and if successful, we may add the ability to acquire turns as well. ...in progress..not completed yet...


i dont like this idea its a war game, not a survey site.


but i suppose it all depends on what you get per survey....
would like to know what you are planning on giving per survey

I have to disagree with you on that. It's an option you can take. And it allows those whom don't want to spend their own money, to support the site another way, and still be rewarded.

I agree with Sarevok.

We need more players discussing planned or newly released updates
in preference to "squeeky wheels" getting the oil.

Nothing wrong with a small carrot here and there if it improves the game.

Depends what the survey is about, about the game ok, everything else no so good, people will exploit it, you can do it with someone elses ID, so 30 members of 1 alliance use 1 persons ID, they get all the naq, or AT's if introduced, can you say MULTI.

1. Don't be able to do it for someone else
2. Don't give ATs. They are far too easily gotten hold of as it is.
3. Make the rewards similar to personal turns- cannot be traded.

1. I agree
2. ATs are no longer so easily too get anymore, as you can see turn costs are going up fast.
3. Then there would be no point in doing the surveys.

tis a good point and not only, so if X have 2t strike then he must have 1t def , once def start droping then his attack cant engage , incase attack would be able to engage then the scripit on the attack page shall calc whats left of the def and rearrange the strike, mean time the def goes down bit by bit.
there are several scenarios that this will ruin the game and make it very costly, escpecially for those that dont have hig cov lvl but still want to have a good strike and def.

This is because, untill they make a change to their covert, it will stay at that level, due to the way its programmed. When/If it goes live, i'm pretty sure Admin will fix this

Unless the 30 day limit is also applied to new accounts? Same as planets now?

For those who are still in doubt that attack and defense need linked somehow, here are some stats on people who are attacking all the time, * no names involved just numbers *

Strike Action: 6**,***,***,***
Defensive Action 6**,***,***

Strike Action: 1,***,***,***,***
Defensive Action 2*,***,***,***

Strike Action: 5**,***,***,***
Defensive Action 0

As you can see, the defenses are tiny compared to the strike, hell the last one has even been attacked by us, you need to force a balance.

As for those who said about so if you mass defense down you cannot attack, all admin has to do is set a 12-24 hour limit to retrain defense before the attack becomes useless.

And to combat the snipers who will build defense so they can mass then untrain, in the first 24 hours after training weapons, make it you cannot untrain them, or just set value to 0, ( this was suggested before months ago by me and got good feedback, but i guess it doesnt fall into what admin considers balance as it can punish someone, where boost to stats dont )

Any chance of making lifer suicide 1:1 ratio.
