To truly prepare for a war, I'd need to stock up on Personal ATs... which I have no way of getting or keeping since I'm running through 10k AT's/day in main and use my MTs on PPT's and merlins to protect my planets. If there was a way for me to gain Personal ATs to take with me into Perg, then you'd all be toast. I have no patience to stay in there any longer than I'd need to.

well either way the updates are here. A few of our members got caught out (didnt read the big neon sign on the login page) but these things happen. We will adapt as always.

But on the whole it seems to be a good update. However, would like to see a bit more info on the surveys. They seem wildly inconsistent for accounts in different continents (still easier to farm for naq).

Admin made changes so that massing will take much longer and will require more ATs to actually do any damage, which will only make statbuilding in Perg that much easier.

Massing an entire alliance by yourself isn't really as easy as you think, even with a top 20 MS. Weapons lasting twice as long will only make it even more difficult and tidious for someone to take on an entire alliance by themself.

Max you are correct. Massing is not as easy as it once was, doubly so in perg and an issue we will just have to figure out

Oh max i wasnt saying take on the whole alliance by urself, iv never done it, and i most likely never would lol. But as for massing, to be honest iv never massed anyone in norm, not because i was scared of getting massed back, just because i saw no need for it, i wasnt in an alliance at the time and well i was pretty weak to be honest, didnt know really how to properly build my account. Anyways just in theory, not from experience, but from theory i would assume since there was no cap on attacks in norm, massing a player urself would be much easier, and in perg now after the update, nearly impossible, if not completely impossible.

@ Main vs Purg massing... yes, Purg requires more coordination, but in Main (due to $*($ Nox and the updates) it is getting harder too....
@ update itself. Hm. Not a bad update, but something strange happened. My def/covert planet (which added 100 bil def/250 bil covert I believe) seems to went up to 133 bil def/250 bil covert. Anyway....
Also, I had 4.5 tril covert (at level 35 covert). I had expected it to be approx 900 bil... alright, it seems it got changed. No problem.... but now it is 2.8 tril. With which factor is it increased now :neutral:

Also @ others: bloody learn to read the topic and the updates themselves

I agree. Mine was 60, went to 120, now it's back to 80. I believe it was doubled, then trying to fix it it took off half of what was added, but is still messed up.

surveys for naq, well i have done three surveys now, waited near enough 10 hours and still no naq, sent a message to the offerpal option and they sent me another 3 e mails for me too put in my e mail address again for more surveys. I assume that before this was put on that someone would have checked it because from past experience these sites are a rip off, it does say i have earned near enough $17 on my 'account' page and to cash in all i need to do is give them my bank details, has anyone else worked out how to get your naq ?

Ok, question for the big J-Man...

Why did planet defences go from 22.5%, to 17.5%, to 15%? And on top of that, maximum planets take-able go from 3/24hrs to 5/24hrs.

I do have a couple of questions just to be sure I'm reading it right.

For me to get back up to 1 trill either i have to train more spies or buy the extra levels to get the same amount as before, right? Buying the levels aren't worth it in between ascensions as you'll reset every 3 weeks anyways.

If I buy attack weapons, when I sell them to ascend, I will only receive 10% of the value back?

Yes, however everyone else's power is also 1/5th. So rank 1 may go from 100T to 20T, and you go from 1T to 200b. The ranking will be the same, just the displayed value will be 1/5th was it was.

Correct. An unfortunate side affect to not being able to effectively combat snipers.

The very long thread kind of mauled him for both ideas. Jason is like a doll that two toddlers want to play with, almost tearing the doll apart between themselves. Had to make a choice, this is it. Review in a while if things go south.

Well actually sab is more powerful then weapons (relatively speaking). Weapon power was doubled. Sab maximum potential was doubled (2-4%) as WELL as taking LESS covert turns (2 not 3) AND allowing MORE hits before phase.

The update still helps planets a LOT, 3% more needed to engage, 2 days of merlin more per MT, 5 planets less takeable from a player/day

@Forum - Did the defense planets receive 1*1,33 boost only this time or will they continue to get 1,33 boost each time you upgrade them (so that 1 upgrade now counts as 1,33 upgrades before)? Because if it's one time thing only, then those with bigger planets will benefit a lot more than those with medium/smaller. Thus it will only widen the gap. If 1 upgrade now = 1,33 upgrades before - then it's all good.

I also *really* don't see the point of doubling defense/strike actions. Motherships are less effective now, medium sized planets as well, with this you're only doing a favour to those who have ultra-high planets and probably abused the planet glitch as well. They will need even less supers to use their planets to the fullest potential so the importance of their planets stay the same, meanwhile the importance of medium/smaller planets gets reduced by 2.

Also when are we gonna be able to sell off hangars?

About house bonuses - all seem quite good except attack one. 3% is really small (def gets 8% along with other things that increase defense), shouldn't this house have more strike percentage in relation to defense house to balance things out? Heck even 5% would be better..
