Shaun, I don't know if that was a typo or not but SIM cards are free in o2 stores provided you put some credit on them. If you purchase a stand alone SIM (which doesn't guarantee you automatically end up on the 'unlimited' tariff) then they are a quid (£1) standard. Anyone who tries to sell you a SIM card for more than a pound can go take a running jump in front of the next coming train.
My intention anyway is to meet you first Shaun. It's been a long time coming, and I also reckon between the two of us we can do a sterling job of rounding up the troops. I know Manchester quite well for an 'out of towner' and hopefully between the two of us we can clearly direct people via phone/text to a central location.
Juliette - Considering there is no proof you're actually this fabled gorgeous 6ft 2" beauty of a female then there's no knowing how difficult it will be to pick you out (even if this meeting does seem like a bit of a sausage fest so far!

) <3

I cannot exist in backgrounds, unless I disguise myself.

Juliette, you're likely to be the forefront of all interest given the vast imbalance of male to females. I'll put my prettiest dress on though and hopefully make you feel more at home.

I was... erm... what's the word? Wrong? I think that's it... it's been nearly as long me using that word as it has been since I bought a new sim card... probably best part of a decade. Hence my.. erm... incorrect?.. mistaken? Statement.

The awkward silence when....
Anyway. Any ideas for bars etc etc Tek? Let's move on with discussions lmao.
Any ideas for potential activities then? Bowling is out.. it'l be too late to go see a football game. Races are not a horrible idea our staff went on a staff doo there a few years back and had an excellent time.

I'm all for races. Pubbing is okay too. I can -in theory- amuse myself.

Balcony bar in picadily isn't a bad idea for everyone on the trains to meet.
Odder bar is pretty close to the station, plays a real eclectic mix of music from indie, to Dubstep, tp hip hop. And during the day it's at a level everyone can still chat and have a beer. Does bacon butties too
Courtyard is a bit of a distance away from picadily, but it has 2 pool tables and flat screens with all sorts of football on and cheap beer. And a bouncer with the fastest Nice guy to MONSTAH gear change in the world when it comes to people acting up.
Font bar always has a good atmosphere, gets busy and if anyones inclined does good price cocktails. The amstel on tap does it for me.
As for clubs, 42's is a pretty grubby little basement club but good price drinks, and the music is a decent mix of indie/hip hop the students love it. 5th avenue is similar, and has a pub right next to it called the garrat that has a top atmosphere but gets rammed.
factory has a real mix, 3 rooms, indie rock & roll, funk/soul/motown, and a techno/house room. I've been but i'll be honest i was smashed, barely remember the place.....same with Venue which i once had a good night in. So im told.
One central has a good saturday night, but probably only i'd be interested with it being dubstep/rnb/hip hop/dnb

Please don't say things like that, it excites me.
Tek seems to know what he's on about. I'm following his lead.

I'd love to, but it's hard enough getting a day off at weekends...let alone a Friday

Have fun though!
