Well, Mr Fallen and Mr Vendetta, I am terribly sorry but I just went through your posts in this thread here again and I could not find any constructive solutions at all.

All you say is oh but people have the right to feel insulted when ever they like (along with all kinds of "geisha's abusing her moderator powers" and "Nuto's ban was unfair" posts).

Joder, your input is much appreciated - that sort of sentiment is what lead (in part) to the respect groups creation. But I do not know if it applies to specifically to this thread, except as a well needed reminder to all that we need to continue (I failed to see the wildfire mentioned) to keep it clean.

This thread however, is an off-shoot of a thread that was locked and moved - which was about a counter-respect-movement-movement that was itself a spillover from a thread in the moderator section.
One that started out with a question/statement about The Deity/Robe citing certain rules to a moderator - a thread that ballooned into a topic divided into two portions:
One - a debate over whether or not a general trend towards over-sensitivity was taking place... and...
Two - a debate as to what part, if any, the Respect Group was contributing.

By now, all of those issues are mostly decided, or the lines are at least drawn - and we find ourselves debating moderator actions, and personal actions - as well as 'personality'.

Well, Mr Fallen and Mr Vendetta, I am terribly sorry but I just went through your posts in this thread here again and I could not find any constructive solutions at all.

They are not proposing solutions because either* they do not feel there is a problem - or that the problem is not dire enough to attack the respect group, or start a counter-respect-movement-movement.

Edit:* Of course... they may just be ornery or lazy.

That may be the problem. :)
I'm not saying your wrong - but it does seem to me, that (aside from the usual flack we get) a great deal of this frustration stems from a conflict of perspective that has ended up with a majority staring down a minority.

The difference betwixt this and the usual mod/mass fight - is that the mods are not in agreement. Really, if they are bashing - it's because they couldn't get there point across through reason - and that may or may not be because their critiques or counter-proposals/counter-facts are valid or invalid - which leads to:

----------

Geh - i've been gone for two days. I went cross-country with over a score of strangers and had a great time - what is the current issue relating the respect group that is not related to mod abuse/mod actions? I would like to start a new thread, and get a final result not clouded by smoke, perceived or real.

Go ahead, start a new thread and lock this one. If I do it, people will only say I am abusing my mod powers again ;)

Well if you couldnt find it then quiet frankly your not as smart as you like to think you are.

1. I doubt you acctually went through my posts.

2. My idea was working together and coming to an agreement that is a mixture of BOTH of your sides.

3. I dont know Nuto, nor do i much like her (from this and that long time ago) so you coming here trying to put words in my mouth is bull **Filtered**.

4. I never said you abused your powers. I said that you would hone up to the fact that this is a waste of time on everyones part and we should give you the time of day...

Finnaly i think all these threads should be locked.

Giesha, your opinion obviously doesnt matter, if it did then things would have already started to change...

Your obviously not as important as you like to think you are so do everyone a favor and stop whining because things arent going your way...

(forgot to say)

Ive posted that idea at least 10 times, if you cant find it you need an aid...

a thread about reactions, and sensitivity, is obviously going to revolve around the person who prompts said reactions and sensitivity.

The Xeno has started a neutral topic about this.

I thank him for his effort and wish him good luck keeping it clean.

Find the topic here: viewtopic.php?f=101&t=83708

Say good bye to this one.
