And I do volunteer for this job if implemented...Unless of course someone has a problem with that...

There should be a hall of shame on the forum for people who send inappropriate and abusive pm's. So that everyone can sab them for being idiots. Surely then that would send out a message that abusive pm's are not acceptable.

Still be amusing though a hall of shame and I'm sure some people might sab them, I know I would.

No, thats why one person should be in charge of posting those names...I volunteered but again, whoever forum chooses would be good, the fact of the matter is, some person needs to be involved in this because even if forum put in a sensor, people would still mask and get away with it. Whoever is in charge of this would recognize masking and therefore would be harder to trick than a program. Human input is required (amusing coming from a replicator)

I have a couple of reps that would love to help you "manage' the problems here.

One more thing that has come to my attention is the fact that some people think I am volunteering to be some sort of police officer or someting on my own...this is not true..I don't want to start anything like that without Forum's approval...what I was going for was more of a button on a received message that would send it to my e-mail...from which I can take action..ie: A sends a "bad" message to B...B clicks the button and sends it to me... because I have Forum behind me I am able to send a message to this person from that e-mail (I don't know the details of how that would work) and warn him, on the repeated offense I would either have the ability to impose a ban or a permanent punishment.

Again, when I say "I" in there, know that I am only suggesting forum uses me, any person who he chooses could be represented by the "I"

Also, some of you may think that such a thing as involving my e-mail and direct linking to their messages and such would be too cost-inducing to implement and therefore not worth it, but people who would suggest obviously have not noticed how many people are quitting due to this type of harrassment....SOMETHING MUST BE DONE whether it is my plan or someone else's there is no cost too high to keep people like Libra/Goo/STE and such in the game...esp. if all you must do is stop people from sending them bad messages..



What this plan is proposing is, in essence, an ingame PM moderator..with certain abilities to help him in his quest to stop the harrassment that leads to people quitting

Oh, and one last thing whoever is being this mod would need full access to the person's chat logs so that he could determine whether or not the person reporting actually started it but then reported the person he was bugging in the first place for retaliation...in this case both would be at fault for if there was a button to push to send the message and get the person punished then there is no reason to retaliate.

EDIT: I would also like to see some input from Forum on this so we could maybe take it in a direction he approves of...I was going to PM him but then I remembered he was having trouble keeping up with all his messages so I'll just post this: FORUM IF YOU SEE THIS JUST PLEASE REPLY TO THE TOPIC SO I KNOW YOU'VE SEEN IT AND I DON'T HAVE TO SEND YOU A PM
