The things I have done are in no way out of my character. The people who voted for me knew and expected actions like these. They wanted someone who was not afraid to talk back to the moderators. Also my votes came from players from about 7 seperate alliances I believe. Thanks.

But apparently if Mods don't like you, they can just throw you out like they did me and Mystake. Congrats Jack and I suggest that if you want to keep your position you agree with everything the mods say/do and keep your mouth shut.

I expect jack to thrive, because he doesnt believe the world is out to get him.

Not true. Mystake made it to a month (a full term). Forum/Jason/Game Creator rotated who was in the position.

How was I immature? I was standing up for myself and not putting up with BS like I never do. That is the kind of person I am, that I do not roleplay.

Fact of the matter is I did my job to everyones expectations. I listened to concerns/complaints and I watched over the mods. Oh well.. The mods never wanted someone to actually do his job..

What the hell, have you even bothered to go back and read the threads, much less pay attention to how you've acted? It's obvious to everyone but you that you were the one in the wrong. It wasn't just a couple of mods that didn't like it, it's been every community member that has actually bothered to read all the threads and form an intelligent opinion. You misunderstood, big deal, move on. I'm not a particular mod lover, I've had my fair share of warnings for swearing, but I'm going to call it exactly like I see it.

I can appreciate that you want to crucify mods that don't live up to anyones expectations, hell we all do eventually. An mods like Spacey are just jokes tbph, it's mods like him that are so bad at the job that no one pays any attention to all the inactivity of the other major mods lol.

For example, I sent out a semi-mass mailing of an informative private message about the Goa'uld Mod Elections to all the global mods, and do you know how many of them did anything? One. Lore. There was another mod that responded, pointlessly wasting my time to eventually tell me she didn't give a damn. Has anything been done yet? No, well not entirely, the topic did get locked at least, now it'll just be easier to forget about. As it sinks deeper, and deeper into the abyss, that is other inactive topics in that area. But thats all besides my point.

I really don't care whose 'our' ombudsman. Because the existance of such a position is a moot point to begin with. Mods are the mediators for the admins, but a real mod is technically their own mediator. It's an oxymoron at best and I think this entire thing has gone way too far. But I take solice in the fact that it is very amusing, so I thank you all for that much.

I was on dial up at the time and didn't stray too far out of my section do to load times in sigs and pages. I am first responsible to mod misc. Take a look at the mods there:

Lore made a thread about it and it was discussed, and far as I know it is still being considered. We are getting back into the swing of thing after the holidays.

Honestly, I tough it was Forum rotating you out after one month. The Global mod forum has the thread still. I took what he (forum) wrote for face value. Anything I cannot comment on because I just don't know.
