Whose complaints were you addressing when you went into Respect group?
I was not addressing a complaint, I made a positive suggestion on how to improve the Respect Group. Is there a rule in the ombudsman manual that says you cannot make suggestions or have opinions?
Or when you chose to argue over the ombudswoman comment?
Your question shows how incapable you are of thinking. I was called a woman. Whose complaint do you think I addressed of Spacey calling me a woman?
Or did you decide that you had a mandate of the people because under 40 people in a community of thousands nominated you for ombudsman? Do you realize that their are 171 pages of members, all but the last one containing 50 names. Sure, many of those people might not be on the forum anymore. Others may be multis. But considering that fourty that nominated you (and that's probably giving ten or so votes) wouldn't even cover one of the 171 pages, less than 1% of the registered users, nearly .5%, you in no way have the right to claim to be suddenly divinely gifted to judge the actions of the people, especially since (ironically) the community only nominated you to a final selection bid where the mods chose you for the position, so the story goes.
How do you expect me to represent the 171 pages of members that do not talk to me? I represented anyone who approached me, and there was only 1 person in the 24 hours. A person with a complaint about Nimras, which I was investigating at the time.
Therefore in the <24 hours I had, I chose to get to know the moderators and what they went through. I read their entire section, which is a very interesting read I have saved, and I simply observed (while also making a few suggestions such as the respect group and rules). By the time I was finished, the last 10-20 replies in their section was from me.
You need to realize that a newly elected ombudsman's name does not glide through everyone's information within the first day. Many people did not know I was ombudsman, which is why I made a ombudsman signature and included a phrase that if anyone had an issue with a moderator, that they could contact me.
I did my job to the best of my ability in the little time I had.
Nice try mate, but not good enough. Who's next?
