I just had to think about people I met several people from poland who talk very well french so if people from eastern europe learn it maybe not only french cares about french.

Tourists buy goods that inhabitants don't want so if you did it many shops would need to close and it would hurt micro-economy

Actually, the French didn't invent the French kiss. It was a phrase coined from a stereotype that the French are a morally repugnant society and therefore a morally taboo kiss must be called a French kiss. Wordorgins.org says the term dates from at at least the 1920's when most societies were pretty uptight about human sexuality.

We can credit the French for providing champagne, although I suppose someone else would have created fizzy vinegar eventually anyway.

I'm not sure how racism could possibly apply here since Frenchman aren't a separate race. All human are part of a single race, Homo Sapiens. My distaste of the French language, culture, and country might be called nationalism but not certainly not racism.

I believe in my books racists and xenophobs aren't very much better considered than major hustlers, rapers and pedophils (if they are not stupid people more likely). Shocking maybe but that's that, I can't stand all those people who have hitler or kkk as living-model, who aggress people physically or verbally not because they did something to them, but JUST because of their skin or nationality, that's very very disgusting and not better than what pedophils do imho.
