i remember caving and buying SS with $ so i could get the ppt that came with it, all so i could save and purchase that expensive 48 million spy level without someone taking it from me first.

vulcan, in epa these days, pushed me to go for bigger spy levels. nearly had a heart attack once when i typed in the wrong amount of E's and had to redo it. remember using the Es to simulate zeros when we couldnt fit in enough numbers?

My first CO was Lord Ra in DD3. He saved for 4 days to buy me my MS. I thought that was unbeleivable.

I remember when there were limits to how many times you could use your bank a day to prevent bots from automatically banking.

Hey remember a time before the codes on the front page? Or when we were thegatewars.com for awhile?

I remember being ranked in the top 100 once...back when a 20k raw up was stellar and just getting that set my account for almost a year. Then again, I remember when 1k up was pretty good lol. Those were the days.

no ascensions and just killer fun
like back when there were no miners and uu earned naq(obviously before raiding)
then miners and raiding was brought out. then raiding was taken away again, i forget why.
but then it came back again lol
good fun.

i remember been able to buy a MS the moment it came out

and i remember after G&R came out and no one was sure whether or not you would be forced to ascend i sold my defence to drop out of the top 100 just until i was sure

Ohh, I was rank 1 Attack, with 60mil assault. I was so happy. Then JUAN joined the game with his multi's and stole my rank 1 attack, and I wasn't a happy camper.

I remember ascending with a 120k army size and 2000 APP's, lol.

Things get funner if you keep retelling and emulating the tales, Blue One.

No no back then it was all like someone would be doing the famous drums while he was talking about it...


He also mentioned how Fox and mr Jakey were banished from Phoenix alliance and how they seek revenge

And coincident or not days or perhaps weeks after he told me we omega went to war with that phoenix (only I think they were furlings till then)


Anyways things were lot more malicious and mysterious back then and all around me were:

I remember when hidden set the 4k post count record for the first time, and when i was the second one to surpass that record a few months later. i also remember the spam contests, and how i sulked for two weeks after losing my first one <_<

...what? so i spent most of my early days in the temple, big deal
