omg is it forbidden to use my OWN language is one sentence?
or prehaps Auriels post and my reply to that?
Nimras i would say it would be best if you take a little look in the mirror and point out to the person you see in the mirror that there are MORE important rule breakings in the forum then just one lousy sentence!
if u take the subject and add there my sentence u get a normal thread.
if you look for your fellow countryman there actually should be one ore two sentence in that topic, don't u think that ... oh wait nvm you don't.
this post could be phrased better but English is not my first language, hey im not writing it correctly, prehaps a warning would be nice as its not "English"?:)
why don't u post that in some "quitting" topics as i see ppl there using non-English language.
if u thing me using my own language is such crazy-violent thing do to in this forum just lock this topic or prehaps ban be form the forum as it can be clearly see that i don't respect any kinda rules.
Peace out and bump for fellow Estonians.
PS! don't respond in Estonian, its a devils language and u will be added to the naughty list.
I am a General Section mod therefore i only mod here and point out here Quitting arent my section if i could i would start modding there as well.
This was mearly to notisfy you about the new rule nothing more nothing less. I could have modded you instead if you liked but i took the nice way of just pointing out the rule that in this forum ALL speak english and unless i am wrong i actually recall the rules mean also small sentences.
Now it was of curtesy i pointed it out nothing more nothing less. And since this rule is just out i choose to notisfy you and Aurial and any other estonian in this forum reading this topic.
And i understand English arent my first if you notice in the rules: Section 5: Language
a. English
Members of the SGW forums are required to speak in English at all times. Members should also respect that English is not the first language of all users and respect that some people struggle with it more than others. <--- as you noticed it is being included and taken in to notices.Judochop wrote:I say BOO to Nimras here. I understand but the rules are clear for all:
Section 5: Language
a. English
Members of the SGW forums are required to speak in English at all times. Members should also respect that English is not the first language of all users and respect that some people struggle with it more than others.

Fallout you know i respect you a lot but keep in mind the rules are there for everyone. No disrespecting the moderators. If you have a problem with them take it up in a pm with them or with a other mod/ombudsman if you feel your pm isnt answered with satisfaction

I don't see Fallout insulting the mods or accusing anyone.
Sometimes, it's good to publicly speak out for something, even if you are not the obudsman. Especially for something they see as unjust.
It's true that a pm would work. But posting it outright isn't wrong either. Since there were no accusations, just statements on why he thinks what he did is right. Personal freedom, to a degree, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, I believe, is okay.
Fallout has voiced his opinion. Why should he be scolded by two mods in succession for it?
Furthermore, should the obudsman intervene for everything? or just major cases. This is an easily handled situation. Why should Fallout not post in the thread, maybe the MOD can try intereacting by pm'ing Fallout about it etc.
I mean, it's quite simple to post a translation in parentatheses... even though the translation is there already in context.
Fallout: sorry for hijacking your thread!
On topic:
I'm not estonian, but good luck on your search!

Is that clear to everyone?

I know what you mean sadly not even a translation in parantese is ok. As of now English is and shall be the only spoken lang on the boards if you wanna speak anything but english do it on MSN thats what we do to stop people from insulting on their own lang. We cant always prove it is meant harmless or not and others have complained and in some cases it has been really bad therefore no small sentences either.
And yes he is fine to answer and asking so i answer also to tell him how it is.FreeSpirit wrote:Fallout you know i respect you a lot but keep in mind the rules are there for everyone. Dear me.. I love this language!
<Moded Nimras>.. a true jewel.
Anyway. I hope we can still find some more Estonians? At the Eurovision Song Festival a few years ago, there seemed to be a lot of them! So where are they now!

*calls for Estonians and waves at Nimras..*

Heh.. not too many years ago, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard.. it was all one kingdom.
Danish-Norwegian Kingdom.
Few centuries ago, okay..

But anywho..
Okay then, you annoyingly sharp-eyed watcher.. I made a mistake.

Turned out to be funny to someone after all. (reads PM)

If you dont know someone is insulting you cause its in a different language it's hardly an insult :/ Thier not going to be insulted by it so whats the point?
It's like playing a joke on someone that you dont acctually get to see. It's pointless :S

Lol sadly i cought one in danish insulting someone very BAD before i got to be mod trust me it werent nice hehe lucky for the player he insulted he didnt know.
But yes in case it was against me it would have been my word against him if no one else could understand it or in case he had more friends would vouce i lied. So yes i do understand it is annoying but this way all has a chance to understand what people say and if they insult WHAT they insult with joke or no joke.
But could we get back on topic plz. If you wanna talk these rules take them the correct place so this topic stay where it should to find fellow estonians.
