Its funny you mention how much it costs for a fleet upgrade and talking bout upgrading past 100k fleets when theres quite a few people that make well over 10tril dmu per turn or more. When you make that much dmu per turn you dont worry bout spending 6bil per fleet upgrade.

Yeah but what ya'll dont realize is that by the time you're making 10tril per turn (or more) fleets cost an upward of 50-100bil each. Everything stays in proportion pretty much (if you build your account "properly"), so a huge income really isnt huge in relation to your own account.
Which, coincidentially, is one of the big problems with ascended.

things do grow proportionately... and yes, my next fleet is definitely over 100bil... But I don't get how you say proportionate growth/cost is a problem. I think its quite good actually...

Actually, no it isn't. You see, income plateaus; costs do not. So in order to get the higher levels you need to save more and more. And with the rank mods and damage caps allowing pirate accouts like Fremen's to exist and prosper, it is very difficult to reach the higher levels.

I hear what you're saying-but I don't see the problem. Things should be harder and cost more as you get larger. We wouldn't want anyone to be able to attain those higher levels without saving and hard work would we?

To get this topic back on track my next fleet cost is 248 billion and change. Still worth the upgrade to me as I spend so much time close to the cap, although I can see how frustrating it would be if I was far beyond the cap and didn't see any real improvement in growth for a decent investment in DMU.
And I don't recall being a ranked as low as 2500 for a very long time so that is pure libel.

Raven i can't beat him, and there no point in me wasting turns on massing him down, he would still grow faster, so i'm joining him. ANd i do have a main account, and i'm looking for someone to destory, my bank just filled up. And don't worry between TO, Full, and TL, they all have tons left out so Freman should be able to get to 500k fleets! by the end of the month, i mean i jumped from 300k to 360k in the past 5 days. True it only added another 40mil per day growth but it added something.

First remove your tag and then say i DO have a main account........with that tag its as 'pathetic' as not bothering with your main accoun.Within 24h after your first farm run without a tag your main account wont have any stats so tell me how its possible for someone like Fremen to actually care about his main account or actually build something in Asc for people to destroy? First of all it would be stupid and sec it would get destroyed within min so the next person who looks sees yet another statless account.
Snipers are only a problem because people care to much about income to build a proper defence.There is no reason to have a strike beyond 10 trill at this time as the costs would hardly make up for the extra dmu you will get so in some way a 10trill+ def in asc would keep you safe from most people add a tag to it and it should be safe from almost everyone.But the problem is it costs income to make more def planets.People gotta make up their mind and stop feeling invincible Both Fuall and TL btw .....

now I see your point with making a defence above 10 trill... thats a great idea...
now I have 200mill network defenders... (1/3rd of my 3 bill total planets)
I've got my defence level to 800 (a long and slow process)
I'm at about half of your recommended defence to stop farming/sniping
now tell me this how am I supposed to stop Nightmare (possibly spelt Knightmare) from TLE with his 12 quint strike?
Do you recommend I throw another 1/3rd of my planets into defence?
I know thats rediculous... I'm upset about having 1/3rd in there... I have no way of upping my defence futher without obscene amounts of DMU...
I'm in no way small I'm about average armysize on ascended but for me to stop certain people with 1100 attack and 100mill network strike troops is near as damnit impossible...
That is the problem... in main if someone builds a massive strike and masses you you can sab their weapons... on ascended you can destroy military but when they make 150mill+ planets a day compared to my 30 mill for being over 2 bill what am I supposed to do about that?
the cap needs to go... entirely... the 5x's armysize attacking limit can stay for all I care... and the 130% strike bonus also needs to go...
the strike bonus and growth cap is whats causing 90% of most problems in my opinion...
if I could grow at my full rate I'd have no problem "wasting" more planets in defence as I'll be able to recover them/grow quicker...
right now its just the sniper accounts recover/grow 4-5x's quicker than those that play ascended "full time"
